I don't know if anyone else has seen this yet, but having now beaten both Human Head Studio's Prey (2006) and Arkane's Prey (2017), I started looking into the clown show behind Bethesda taking the IP away from HHS and shoving it onto Arkane.
One cursory glance at YouTube later, I discovered that there was a game hub for Prey 2 on YouTube, and it was there that I found five videos by one David Halsted (currently a principal level architect at Zenimax Online Studios) of development footage for the game.
Going by the double-digit view count, the name's involvement to Prey 2's development, and the recent upload date, I think I can say this is legit. If there's anything pointing to the contrary, let me know. I prefer Arkane's Prey, but I'd be lying if I didn't say HHS's sequel didn't look interesting, least of all from the CG trailer shown of at Bethesda's E3 2011.
What do you make of these videos?

UPDATE: David Halsted has personally taken down the videos, however they have already been uploaded to the Internet Archive.

Just the opposite.

At least HHS was trying something weird and different, while Arkane just kinda shat out something and then dropped the IP. while working on their next XCOM game

Frankly would have loved to see more from HHS but with them being defunct for a long time that's not happening. Plus I don't trust Bethesda's judgement at all after what they've done to Interplay, as well as the Fallout series. Nevermind the circus going on right now after Starfield...

Arkane is an OK studio, but not the sort to handle a relabelling of that sort of game.
