FINALLY, I've INSTALLED Aroma on my first WIIU,so I'll give my experience with Aroma:.
Some apps are not working anymore on Aroma, but also you must know the fact that updating files on console and sd made quite a lot of things not working anymore under Tiramisu environement......so somewhere envswap app works but coming back to Tiramisu will not again make some of your old program to work.
So results:
- So, I don't know why, primary tests....at the beginning, my plugins weren't all working but figured out how to make them work.
Still, Better-Settings doesn't seem to work, my TV doesn't mirror my gamepad, always wanted to have my WiiU like a WII ;(
The bad Thing of aroma, some app don't work anymore, but for mostI knew about it before installing Aroma.
Fpr example you loose: Loadiine and it's forwarder, Homebrew launcher, Homebrew channel, Retroarch and it's forwarder, the latest version of Nuspli works but it takes 5-6 min when closing the app now for me (i'll test the channel version later)
Now the latest version of Scumm I installed doesn't work with Tiramisu, The Forwarder of AWM Mod in the homebrew launcher doesn't work anymore.
Some things could be improve maybe....for example A plugin shortcut on the wiiU first screen would be nice instead of having to do "TOP L"+"D"+"-"+ to open the plugin menu. A way also, maybe to hide the "homebrew launcher" in Aroma mode, else it freezes if you launch it under aroma by mistake.
- The good things on AROMA!
The plugins but it takes around one hour to learn all about them, HB app store aroma, WIIU shell aroma (more stable moving intra folders), Koopair AROMA, NTRview aroma,
Tried ways to make some of my old apps to work under tiramisu env, some like Homebrew channelRetroarch, YawmME have ceased to work in the updating process to Aroma (Surely due to updating some file like payloader, mocha, sigpatch...)
