(added some photos of the console in question)

so i bought a b rank 3ds xl from a japanese seller a few months ago. it had quite a few scratches, and there's a stain in the top screen that happened a few weeks after i got it but it doesn't affect the functionality of the console; everything works really well. i've disassembled it too and noticed some dust and grime too (probably from previous use) i was thinking of replacing some parts: old screws, rubber feet that got damaged, top screen (has a stain on one corner, but doesn't really bother me) and both displays (they both have scratches, it's may be hard to see because of my shitty camera but they're there), and a new top coverplate, but i can't help but wonder if it's worth doing. opinions? will it last after restoring?

If you can keep from dropping it or causing the device harm it should last for awhile. You may have to replace the batter every few years, but that's about it after other repairs.
Whether it is worth it or not is up to you though.
