NooooiiiiiiiceI am working on it when I can
I was not expecting to be so busy, so I'm not sure I can predict when I can get a release out.

It certainly looks like an English version now though!

The difference between the JP and ENG versions are the tons of regional changes to the world, items, minigames, dialogue, and interactions. Each version shares the same fundamental gameplay, but JP has some wildly different mechanics. I would not say its an upgrade or better than other regional releases, but it is probably the most distinct out of all versions.Just curious, but what's the difference between this and the Tomodachi Life we got in English? Is this just the Japanese version or is there something like an upgraded version we didn't get?

Here are some changes I can recall:
LARGE DIFFERENCES -
MINOR DIFFERENCES -
- Many regional foods, rooms, clothes, and treasures
- Exclusive animations for interactions and gestures
- The controversial dating system (allows child/adult parings)
- Different tone of dialogue
- First person pronoun system
- The observation tower does not exist, instead, miis visit the apartment's rooftop
- Very compressed-sounding TTS from Tomodachi Collection
- Unique combination convention for baby names. (ex: Hiroshi & Naomi -> Naoshi)
- Blood types
- Exclusive music for the combability tester
- Cross-dressing is more acceptable
- Combability tester ignores family relations and age
- Married miis can accept confessions
- No pose for catchphrases
- The adult age is 20
- Different details and subjects in news broadcasts
- Enka song type
- References to Tomodachi Collection in dreams and treasure.
- Songs in the cafe use the default lyrics from Tomodachi Collection
- Different colors and textures used in minigames.

Any updates?
Will this patch work on a modded 3DS? Would love to keep all my TL saves on the same system. Really looking forward to this in either case!
That's wonderful! Thank you for placing this here!I got to page 238 out of 300 for translating the news
Wait wrong hack lol

Completely understandable. I'm just glad that it's still being worked on. It's awesome to see how much progress has been made so far. This is clearly no small project. Thank you for taking it upon yourself to make this translation. That's wonderful! Thank you for placing this here!

The core elements of the game are entirely translated now.
I am just translating item descriptions, news reports, and more tedious things like the 100 questions + responses (range between two to four options) that Miis randomly ask you.
- Friendship interactions
- Common and special greetings
- Relationship drama (confessions, breakups, weddings)
- Food, clothing, and other item requests
- Tool related activities (vacations, cooking with the frying pan, sewing)
- All menus
- All minigames
- All map information
Also, I give my apologies that my prediction for this patch's release was very off. College and some health issues are making it hard to work on the project regularly.
Dont worry bout it, its really cool you're workin' on this anyhow! Hope ya feel better! That's wonderful! Thank you for placing this here!
