I have a no-name flashcard/flashcart (as in, it came from Amazon with no signs of a label) I used when I played a DS lite/DSi that I no longer need, since I have a New 3DS with Luma installed, and I can play all of my games that way.

But there is some older DS Homebrew that I can’t run with TwilightMenu (DSOrganize, and yes, I do plan on using that). Thankfully, I haven’t gotten rid of the old flashcard, so I intend on using that to run it. The only problem is that this off-brand, no-name flashcard does not work on any 3DS console — neither my N3DS or my friend’s 3DSXL.

I don’t know where to go with this.

Edit: I have solved(?) this; it was just plain old user error.

A bit of searching suggests people have been able to run that in TWiLight Menu.

I don't know if this is the same thing, but I use an NDSBootstrap forwarder so I can get my other games (and even some flashcard-independent homebrew) on my home menu made by RandalHoffman called NDS Forwarder Generator. I tried running DSOrganize with that method first, and got stuck at the "Trying..." screen. I don't know whether this is a hang/crash or if this application is just really slow.

if you can yes. Front and back, with and without the shell

So…

Upon closer inspection, the flashcart isn’t as no-name as I thought. Turns out it’s some sort of ACEkart, though anything beyond that I’m not sure.

Ok, so for some reason it has decided to work. I’m guessing that the problem was that the card wasn’t inserted properly, and even then, it doesn’t fit very well, but it does work now!

There are some things that will work from TWiLight Menu that will not work with a forwarder – even though they both use nds-bootstrap in the end.
