I tried to weed out several thousand values, but in the end at stage 3 I showed 0 values. What am I doing wrong?

In order to make the code you want to you need to have an understanding of assembly code.
I also suggest a disassembler like ghidra or ida pro.
These will help you read assembly code.
You will also want a .elf file of the game to load in these disassemblers.
To get a .elf you can use gm9 to get the decrypted code of a game and the extheader.bin then you need to run a program that converts them into a .elf file. You can find such a program here: https://github.com/NWPlayer123/ctr-elf2

Hurrah. I created my first zero-knowledge cheat. While it's on, HR CHANGES TO 999. Only to HR set to 999, you need to go to the quest. Then it will be 999 until you turn off the cheat
