Should I buy a Switch 2 at launch?

I've already pre-ordered some S2 games which I can wait a while to play, but I wanted to know if a launch system would be easier to exploit as homebrew [overclocking and mods] is a pretty important part of the experience to me. Modchips are of course fine [and preferred], but I'm not sure they'll ever happen and even if they do, it will take a while to find someone to solder it on for me. I'd also have to wait for modchips to become common enough that the person soldering it doesn't make any mistakes.

I have to choose between this and a few pricey GBA and DS games I've wanted to buy so I thought I'd get some advice.

lmao WHY would you pre-order digital aka ever-available games, before standing 3 hours outside of GaymStop to secure the console? I popped into a random GS a few days after pre-order day and some lady was asking the clerk how could she possibly secure the h/w, and I couldn't help but tell her, "lady, you're like 3 days too late, so hopefully by Xmas would be your time frame for this thing," and the clerk more or less nodded in agreement. Unless big greedy N surprises everyone with a near-immediate wave 2 of swatches.
