Unbricking vanilla consoles?

Ooh that's good one, going to have to remember that one.

Yep it was the "Factory Bad Block (####)" for all 4

...Lol remember that part where I said I'm good with hardware but when it comes to software...

Lol. You may proceed with the revirginizing now. Since you do a lot of hardware related stuff I don't doubt too badly you have a GC Controller tbh

I can't say I know wtf I'm looking at with SysCheck results but... I assume the fact 17 out of 47 IOS being stubs can't be good

Yeah this Wii seems to have been stock. The stub IOSes are just ones Nintendo never used for any software, or did but then no longer did so overwrote them with stubs.

So... I have learned something about software... that I'm even more stupid than I thought when it comes to software

So I tried following that brick guides thing from before

And uhhhm... since none of them were 1:1 tried a couple of the options and uhhhm yeah seemed to either do nothing or make things worse... the closest description was the mail brick so I used that tool to clear the message board, nope that was not it... Saw something on there about using nus downloader to restore your system menu since system menu seems to be where I have trouble so used nus downloader to grab 4.3U and IOS80-64-v6944 like it said it needed aaaand no longer even got a "press A to continue" on the health and safety screen, used bootmii to restore the nand to just undo what I had done, and well that succeeded but also means still a bricked wii
