Hey all! Recently we've learned of the existence of the WUP-10 Wii U motherboard and we are curious as to what other motherboard revisions are out there.

We know of:
- WUP-01
- WUP-10
- WUP-30
- WUP-40
- WUP-50

We're looking for the WUP-20, as the gap between WUP-10 and WUP-30 implies the existence of it. It may also solve the mystery "22" board revision found in some systems SEEPROMs that are in GerbilSoft's Wii U DB.

How to check your motherboard revision

If you have a WUP-10, WUP-20, a WUP-60 or higher, please post pictures of it!
If you have a board that's in the known list (exception being WUP-10), please refrain from clogging the thread.

wup-10 is very rare, perhaps I have come into contact with over 200 consoles, this is the only one.
I want to have a WuP-10, but I couldn't find it.

This WUP-10 looks to be the same one from the thread where we even found out about it. YveltalGriffin has already purchased this board, but we are wanting to see if there are any more out there.

I have that console in my hands. Can it really be the same?
Meanwhile, luckily I found another one. If nothing unexpected happens, it's also Hynix

I....apologize. The censored S/N that i could see lined up with the one we do have. I'd also like to thank you for posting it!

OH! that first system is the one uploaded to GerbilSoft's Wii U DB! I didn't notice initially.

I managed to get my hands on a complete WUP-10, here's everything from that:

I noticed two things:
  1. It has the VXX72135 drive board (further proving these boards are from 2013)IMG_20250813_161845.jpg
  2. The heatsink clamp has white plastic (similar to WUP-50s)

ID #7753 on the GerbilSofts Wii U DB
The serial of this system now makes be believe there are at least 4000 units, assuming no other board was given a serial in that range.

Either a refurb or yeah torn it off. In any case there are other ways to check the board rev.

I noticed these on GerbilSoft's WiiUDB
I do believe that these are WUP-20s. They almost match the serial and have a pretty interesting boardRevision which I've never seen before on a unit (I just knew it existed). The manufacture date also lines up with what we've seen with WUP-10 and B1X.
So they definitely exist, but damn are they hard to find.

Was hoping I had a WUP-50 since it comes with the 32GB Black Deluxe Set Nintendo Wii U console (I got mine with Nintendo Land) but it seems that it was a WUP-01

In a Chinese second hand trade platform, someone is selling a wiiu console which looks like a 10 machine although the truth of the machine can not be confirmed.
One of the image of the label was partly covered, but through the other image (less clear) the sn still can be distinguished (see attachment). The first four number digit of the sn is 1051 which is different from the 7 known 10 machines whose is 1052.
So if searching around the Japanese second hand trade platforms, maybe more can be found?
