I finally beaten the amazon scalpers and secured a pre-order for the Mario Kart World bundle and the official carrying case and I'm hyped for when they arrive on June 7th (the Saturday after the console's launch). I'm still a little worried that going online with the console will somehow get me banned since my switch 1 got banned for having homebrew but talking in the last thread I posted here has caused those worries to almost entirely fade away plus I can still use my account on nintendo's website, the nintendo today app and the switch online app so my account should be fine for the most part

I can see it's in stock right now so it shows up from time to time, but mostly out of stock. I pre-ordered via John Lewis Online, and just for fun I kept trying to checkout NS2+MKW on Amazon and I did it (not sure I'll keep it or cancel).

The more I see MKW the more it looks like Mario Kart: Forza Horizon Edition.

yeah sometimes whenever the console went into stock I couldn't go through with the pre-order and was asked if I wanted to save it for later, but now I've finally pre-ordered and I can't wait for mario kart world and wind waker via switch online amongst being able to play splatoon 3 online again since homebrewing my switch and getting it banned meant I couldn't play online

It's a dang shame they refuse to port TPHD and WWHD to the Switch 2 those are two of the best Wii U games, and it's extremely unfortunate they're stuck on that console.

yeah it does suck, but at lease we have WW via switch online now, I just hope they'll also add the gamecube version of TP to the service as well

This is something I don’t understand. They gave us Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros U and many other titles that nobody asked for.. but the Zelda ports are stuck? Cmon maaan

You cannot pre-order the GCN controller since that's exclusively sold through Nintendo's site.
Yes, that's why.

not sure if I can actually help, right now the controller is exclusive to MNS, but it should be available in other retailers at launch
You mention you'll be playing WW via the GCN Service so you have access to buying MNS products?

If you're happy to shoot me the money now (via PayPal Friends and Family would work?) and PM me your address I don't mind using my Nintendo Store account. My partner was fortunate enough to get her Switch 2 pre-order through Nintendo and didn't fancy the GCN controller, so I have mine ordered through her lol. Hopefully my being staff on the site is enough to convince you that I'm not really out here trying to scam you.

Yeah, I'll PM you. It's ridiculous how much they're charging for a Wireless GCN NS2 controller, but I really want one so I'll pay up.

Thanks.

It's better than what they're charging for a new pair of joy cons and the pro controller at least
Yeah those better be some pretty damn good quality controllers. I've heard lots of people geeking out about how good the Pro Controller 2 is but I'll see for myself when it releases.

No chance it's worth what they're asking, especially without Hall Effect sticks. I'd get a Switch-compatible 8bitdo controller while they're still available if you don't have one already.

See I always hated the comment about Hall Effect sticks being the end all solution and best sticks out there. However one thing we do know is that they are using some brand new sticks they designed.

TBH, I think the reason Nintendo aren't using hall effect for the joy con sticks is because of the magnets in the console that allow for the joy cons to be attached in the first place, since hall effect also relies on magnets to send out the electrical signal when movement is detected, so having them in the joy cons would probably cause drift in some way when they're attached to the console, grip or straps
