I use hekate_ctcaer to launch into Android on my Switch. Is there a way to use that process to dump Switch games/updates/saves without installing CFW? I don't really feel like going through all the effort of installing CFW until the Switch is EOL.

The only way to dump games are updates is with Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper. Unfortunately, there is no way to dump save data.I use hekate_ctcaer to launch into Android on my Switch. @NepuNepu for backup save games you need to use JKSV homebrew.I use hekate_ctcaer to launch into Android on my Switch. Try AOMEI Partition Assistant on PC, to format it, it should show the partitions.Hello Everyone,
I have a problem here with my 128GB SD Card that I have been using on my Nintendo Switch Lite (unlocked/CFW).
I changed from 128GB SD card to a 256GB card, but my old card stopped working after I format the SD card from Windows 11.
Any one had this problem? Is it because I didn't format it on Linux? To kill all hidden partitions created by Nintendo Switch Lite Hekate v6.2.2 ?
When I put the SD card on:
1. PC it doesn't show,
2. Nintendo Switch (locked/official OS - OFW) it says that the SD card couldn't be read, and asks to turn off and turn on the device (doing so, it restarts and stops for a long time on a dark screen, and then the device boots, SD card continues not reading),
3. Nokia N79, it says that Memory card corrupted.
Is there a software to repair it on Windows?
Tried to boot to Hekate and removed the new SD card to try to use the emuMMC function but once I remove the card Hekate also goes away (with the card, but I think it shouldn't, so that we could use Hekate to format old SD card and the partitions created by it).

It doesn't detect the SD card attached to the laptop.Try AOMEI Partition Assistant on PC, to format it, it should show the partitions.
It doesn't show on Disk Management.Check under computer management -> disk management and see if it show up, card might be in read only mode or dead.

Only Nokia show that something is inserted, and it's not okay, it's corrupted. PC stays like nothing happened.

Is it dead?
Hello!
I'm trying to fully update my Switch sinces been 3 years since I don't update it.
I'm following several guides but mostly @impeeza guide (youre a lifesaver) till the update firmware part.
Switch.hacks.guide directs me to dump my OWN Switch's firmware from an up-to-date sysMMC. I can't help but notice that impeezas guide doesn't include that and instead direct us to get from other method. I grant there's a reason for that.
Is there something I should know about dumping my own firmware from sysNAND? Is it easier or harder?
PS: last time I tried to dump from sysNAND. Atmosphere oddly stopped working afterwards: whenever I tried to boot Atmosphere (Incognito) it used to crash. I've eventually updated atmosphere and it went back to normal.

Exactly, there is a reason for that, sharing the firmware files is considerated piracy. you can use a web search and look forHello!

It's very easy but if you don't take all the precautions you can be banned so...Is there something I should know about dumping my own firmware from sysNAND? Is it easier or harder?

OFW and CFW are independant in terms of the software installed on them and the savegames.Hello, has anyone tried to run games on OFW after having previously played them in CFW? I get a "Could not start the software" error, specifically for games that fit that description. I wanted to play NSO GBA games online, and I'd already opened the app on CFW before (offline of course). The same error happened while attempting to boot the Xenoblade games (cartridge versions); I previously played them on CFW as well.
Have already tried:
I'm on firmware 19.0.1, hekate 6.2.2, atmosphere 1.8.0. Thanks
- Deleting save data in CFW
- Deleting the CFW user's profile
- Erasing game data in "contents" folder for the games with this issue
for some reason, my joycon and pro controller only works when really close to switch. Anyone has any clue on what can be happening?

For me was a pencil holder near my console, I really do not know why but lower the efficacy.for some reason, my joycon and pro controller only works when really close to switch. Anyone has any clue on what can be happening?

Greetings,
Gave my little brother a jailbroken switch but after a while he kept fiddling and deleted all the games. Is there a way to prevent him deleting games and also from accessing the settings menu ?
