Update the Fusee.bin included on the atmosphere github to your SD card.

Downloadi the Fusee.bin, copy it to your SD card: Bootloader/ payloads. Then in hekate main menu on Switch, goto payloads, select Fusee.bin

Anybody know how to move PPSSPP savefiles from the latest pc version to the Switch’s Retroarch? Seem to have tried everything under the sun to get my Persona savefiles to read but they just wont be detected no matter where I put them or what I do. Am I stupid? Genuinely, I feel really dumb for not being able to suss this one out

im trying to start my cwf from scratch can you advice the instruction? using the one you mention here leaves a lot of staff on the card, but i want total fresh start. can i just erase everything? unpack atmos, hekate and install dbi?

Alright next we're gonna try something a little different. Have you ever heard of Maintenance Mode? Its fine if you haven't. What you're going to do is turn off your console if it isn't powered down already. Then you're going to turn it on but as you're turning it on, you're going to hold down the volume + and - buttons. If successfully executed, you will enter Maintenance Mode. From here, there is nothing else you need to do. Simply exit or turn the console off then try launching or installing the games again.

Hekate uses an update.bin file whenever you push a newer version of Hekate so ultimately, it doesn't matter what version of Hekate you send as a payload. Anyways, what is the error message you see?

It's been a while since I've done an update and with the switch 2 on the horizon I'd like to get my switch 1 up to date as I'll likely never want or need to do it again in the future.

I am just wondering, now that there is a new (well probably not that new) tool called sys-patch, do I need to update my firmware to run the latest games? I'm on atmosphere 1.1.1 and firmware 13.0.0 at the moment. Just wondering if I need to update both or if I can just do atmosphere.

In the event that I need the latest firmware, should I go right to 19.0.1 or stick with one of the 18.x.x versions?

You surely haven't updated in a while. Check this guide before you update for more info on how to do that.

I'm running the latest 19,0,1 firmware and, so far, I haven't run into any issue at all.

If you only want to update once more, and never do it again, I would suggest you wait a bit more, until the next big update from Nintendo (20.0) comes out. And even then, wait until all the homebrew you use, Hekate, Atmosphere and sys-patch all get updated and certified to work. Only then, update. If you can live without playing the latest games for a few more months (and it looks like you can, as you're on an old firmware), that would be your best path. Of course, if you're comfortable updating, go ahead and update now to 19.0.1.

Well it's not that so much, really. I got a steam deck when they came out so I have mostly just been using that since then. What really prompted me to pull out the switch is that my daughter is getting a little older and so I thought I'd play some of the simpler games with her now and then, and when I pulled my switch out of the drawer (the battery was still at 99%!?) I figured I'd give it a refresh. Also I think we might be getting to the point where newer games and firmwares are no longer able to be supported by emulation, which is seemingly at a stand still, and likely to remain there until the switch gets quite a bit older.
