@SkyBladeCloud just checking the past conversations on the old forums and this one too. Did Coldbird actually gave you the codes/scripts for the entire stuff?

No, I'm not familiar with Coldbird's work on this (or any other) game. I don't remember ever having contact with him and in any case, I wouldn't present other people's work as mine. While unreleased (and incomplete or bad as it may be), everything I've posted has been developed by me.

Ahh I see, well at least @YamatoNag has been doing okay-ish progress on to make the tool for the PSP side though he's having issues in the RDP header (in 0x10 location that has some kind of signature or something and especially aligning the repack procedures... Though no progress on PSVita since it has difference on how the files are used... But he already released a English Patch of God Eater Offshot (japanese exclusive game). He translated them by hand/manual.

My progress on making the tool is slow but I'm trying to get there lol, but yeah I'm having alignment issue (despite each file is 0x800 per offset) and whatever was the RDP signature on the 0x10 part.

Although usually my best way to repack them properly is to store .res file information as a json and when repack the tool will use the information into the JSON file and make a new .res file. Sometimes it does work on single file and doesn't work on multiple ones, usually I suspect the alignment and how the files that are sourced from the RDP is stored.

Or probably we would bury this project? I mean, there's already GE2RB, and GER being localized, but then again. Some people can't access those stuff sometimes. So they probably would use GE2 on the PSP (or emulate it).

Yeah, I'm not sure man. Been trying some experimental stuff here and there. But I got more roadblocks along the way, but I never give up much. In the end, we gotta moving, that's all we can do.

- the PSP version reacts very differently to the PSVita version when translating the bullets despite being correct.

hello, i have been finding ways on any available tools to modify GOD EATER 2 within PSP and PSVita, and also later series like:
- GOD EATER RESURRECTION
- GOD EATER 2 RAGE BURST
- GOD EATER OFFSHOT

But there hasn't been any good tools out there for me to help at all?, which im getting desperate at...

i was wondering if this project is still continued or someone else picked this up?
 
dunno really. pretty much everyone moved on and stuff. though as for me. im just here waiting for something while busy at real life stuff.

i did make a basic concept tool for unpacking/repacking, but its a bit of a mess.

but idk really if we can really do this or someone picking this project up.
