if the non-primary console is modded, just install a fake ticket with the correct title key and it will stop having to check online to run the game

you can get the title key from your primary console if it's modded, or somewhere online if it's not (hint: unmodified eshop nsp have the correct title key in the ticket)
huh? haha sorry. How do I install a fake ticket?

tickets in .tik format

get dbi, in the tickets menu you can press + on any entry and backup the ticket

you can change the title id in the ticket to the title id for your game, and the title key with the correct one for your game

https://switchbrew.org/wiki/Ticket

what you can also do is extract the ticket from a nsp you might find online, validate that the signatures are correct and that will guarantee that the title key in the nsp ticket is the correct one

then in dbi you can press A on the .tik and install it directly

if you aren't able to figure out how to make your own ticket, then you can also just install a nsp directly, that you find online. it will take longer because it will reinstall the game, but you will have the game with a ticket that lets you play without having to verify online that way

if your primary switch is modded, you can get the title key from it instead, but it will take some more steps actually. because the signed personalized ticket stores the title key in a different format, it will probably take some more steps before you can get the 16-byte title key for a common ticket. one way to do this is to backup the game to a nsp using nx dump tool, and enable the option that removes console-specific data. you will get a nsp with a fake universal ticket, and the correct title key

if it's not banned, then you can go on the eshop on the other one and remove it as a primary console, then go to the eshop on the modded one to make it primary

it's probably easier to just download nsps online and reinstall the games you need though, you won't lose save data because it's stored separately so you dont have to worry about that. but if you wanted to keep and use what is already installed then just installing a ticket should work

well, I say that, but there could be additional encryption on the contents for personalized eshop content and that could apply to games downloaded from the eshop on a secondary console, and then simply installing a common ticket with the common title key wouldn't be enough. it might be interesting if you actually tried and reported back to know if simply installing a ticket actually works

or actually it's probably easy to verify this, just dump a personalized nsp with nx dump tool and then dump the same game but with the console-unique info removed. and then compare if the nca are identical or not. I can probably do that at some point, and then I could test if the personalized nsp install still works if you just install a common ticket over it

or at least, nx dump tool doesnt seem to do anything to modify the contents when you dump a nsp with the console-unique data removed, it only modifies the ticket to make it a common ticket

https://github.com/DarkMatterCore/nxdumptool/blob/rewrite/code_templates/nxdt_rw_poc.c#L6883
https://github.com/DarkMatterCore/nxdumptool/blob/rewrite/source/core/tik.c#L193

so it sounds like in theory a fake ticket should work just fine with the legit eshop contents

there might still be a problem though, because there could be an entry in the title database with rights id associated with that title, and if you dont have a personalized ticket with matching rights id, it might not accept the ticket and the game still won't work. thinking about it I think I've already tried that in the past actually, installing a common ticket over a personalized ticket, and it didn't work. but I don't know if game installs on secondary console also do that, or if they just connect online to get the title key

it would probably make sense for it to also check the license to make sure the game is actually owned in which case simply installing a common ticket will not work and you should forget what I said in my previous posts, your only option is likely to uninstall the game and reinstall from an nsp. if you dont want to have to download a pirated nsp online then you might be able to install a fake ticket (with the correct title id and title key of course), dump the game as an nsp using nx dump tool or dbi or anything you want, uninstalling the game to clear it from your switch's title database, and then reinstalling it with any nsp installer (which should install it properly as a non-personalized title, and should work fine with just the fake ticket)

your easiest and most straightforward option is to download an nsp online and install it though. you own the game legally already anyway, so if you werent a fan of piracy, this should at least be okay morally. or if you can access the eshop on the modded console to make it a primary console, that should work too (and I'm pretty sure it will just download and install the personalized ticket once you go to the eshop)

So I am experiencing problems with Local Play on Smash Ultimate
I am unable to be found on another Switch (a patched one with PicoFly installed)
But I am able to find the Local Room when the Switch with PicoFly creates it

Adding that I am using a Physical Cartrige (installed the DLC and Update through Awoo) while the Swith with PicoFly have the digital Base game with the same update and DLC installed through Awoo

Checked both are on the same version, and both consoles are on 19.0.1 Firmware with the most recent Hekate and Atmosphere as followed by the Switch Hacks Guide

I've noticed that DBI 775 or newer has dbi.locations file as well. What is it used for? From what I can see it links to the website that hosts the latest DBI, but I'm not sure where else it's used.
No idea what it is, it looks like this is only present on the github. I know this file is not included in the zip from the Russian forum. Only 3 files inside the zip are: DBI.nro, dbi.config, and dbibackend (not an exe).

Download this zip file, unzip, then copy files to your SD card, overwrite if asks, then reboot switch.
https://github.com/impeeza/sys-patch/releases/tag/v1.5.5
weird that the sigpatches thread here on gbatemp still links to ITotalJustice github link which is taken down
are these the same ones available to download on that same thread btw?
may star that github page when I need to update my sigpatches on the future (with the next update for Switch coming these months)

is the xenoblade switch pro controller? worth money moreso then original pro controller?
worth holding on
If you'd like to resell it in the future, it definitely is since it's a limited edition unlike the regular black one. Those limited editions usually quickly go out of stock, either because of people that genuinely want to have them in their collection or scalpers looking to earn some money due to inflated prices of those controllers.
