04/25/2025 LATEST MODS UPDATE POST. 1.0.2 UPDATE HERE
CHEATS TESTED BY STEVENS AND WORKING
HOW TO INSTALL THE MODS VIDEO GUIDE
Xenoblade Chronicles X 1.0.1 Mods (made mainly for emulators) by Fl4sh and StevensND. Download the .zip file.
If you're going to do a video or shared the mods, credit the authors. I know YouTubers will start to leave this uploaded on a weird link with full ads and people will think they make them ._.
ABOUT LOSSLESS SCALING
ISSUES WITH THE FPS MODS ARE EXPLAINED HERE (CLICK ON THE LINK).
IF YOU'RE HAVING ISSUES WITH THE 1.0.1 UPDATE CHECK THIS POST
QUICK NOTES (Things that you must know):
If you're using Citron and the 60 FPS Gameplay - 30 FPS Cutscene Mod:
Just drag the folder into your mods directory. When you open the folder, you'll see inside two folders: cheats and exefs. Both folders must be there. Otherwise the mod won't work properly.
If you're using Ryujinx:
Drag the FPS folder into the mods directory. Remember that you must enable the cheat
Right click on the Game -> Manage Cheats -> And tick the checkbox. If you don't do this, the mod won't work properly.
Here's another version of the 60FPS mod.
4K can be possible but IIRC what Fl4sh told me is that the game gets dark so that's why it's not included.
Regarding another aspect ratios that are not included: I don't do aspect ratio mods. That's up to Fl4sh. I higly doubt he want to do other aspect ratios but you can ask him.
Here's another note for Field Of View:
Installation is the same as the FPS mod. However the cheat (is made to change the FOV in real time) will only work on Citron. Talking about [FOV ZL + Dpad Left/Up/Right/Down v1.0.1]
If you're going to use the resolution mods
You must set the resolution upscaler on 1x. 1x will leave the default values as we labeled (2560x1440 for instance). Otherwise, you're increasing the resolution.
1x = 1440p.
2x + using 1440p mod at the same will double 1440p resolution (2880p). Also: You might need to increase the DRAM on the emulator settings to 6GB, 8GB etc etc. This should be done if you're having issues with the resolution mods. However IMO for 1440p it's not neccesary.
Native resolution mods are generally more accurate than emulator scaling because they use the game's native code to render a resolution rather than an emulator's subjective scaling. These mods just change the resolution values that are written to memory.
Finally, if you want to support us
Just take a look at the credits section on Github
