It could be a charset issue. If you are using non-ascii chars, and the filesystem is *not* exFAT (ie you use FAT16/32) it could be an issue. I will test it and report back. I have been using exFAT for most of my tests I think.

Just added version 0.11, fixed a couple of bugs. But also did not test thoroughly :D

I was late for the party but I'm finally here. Impressive work!

And yeah: there will be a web-based patcher util where you will be able to patch a ROM and generate a patch file for it (that superfw can read). To generate full databases you probably need to use the repo mentioned (since it's a bit impractical to load hundreds of ROMs to Chrome/Firefox). I will add the ability to load a patch database from the SD card, that's something that was always planned (I just removeed it due to $reasons, but will re-add it).

I will agree the idea to allow loading patches/cheats separately for *each* rom file, instead of some unified database (which will hard to distinguish only from Title ID as you said).
This is useful for those Pkmn ROM hacks, or if someone just want to tweak something only for that single ROM file.

Can you make a update so I go from the screen where you need to press the button combination to the screen where the files are with only the R button? my L button doesn´t work so I can't flash the firmware, thanks!

I think SuperFW has made Supercard work at its peak. The rest for games that still feel laggy like Metroid Series, Mario Kart and others seems to be the limitation of Supercard Hardware itself.

So, I have a "Playlist" of 88 Games that I can finally play properly including planning to complete Pokedex, because now all Pokemon Games work perfectly, thanks to the latest update, and yes Save File from Pokemon Games can now be edited with PKHex too, I'm very happy °\(^_^)/°

Hello. This is a software officially launched by SC to watch videos and listen to music (after downloading the uncompressed picture in its entirety, the suffix can be changed to zip to decompress). It works fine on official FW, but it doesn't work on SuperFW, can you please adapt it?

Could you post a link of it?

it works fine as long as you launch it with "no patching".
it has soft reset built-in, just press L+R+Start+Select.

EDIT: this media player functionality is why i bought my current supercard microsd. years ago i had a supercard with a full size sd card slot and always found that neat, after a while i sold it to upgrade to an ez-flash iv but kinda missed the media player part the supercard had.
ez-flash carts are superior in everything else but media playback. meteo sucks.

Can it worked in when TF in exfat?

Hey there!
Working on wrapping things up a bit, finishing the last features, and polishing some stuff.
I started working on translations. I noticed there was some interest in chinese but I am not sure what other languages might be of interest. I will be doing spanish since it also has a big userbase that tends to have some trouble with english. If you are interested in helping translating for your language, fire me a DM :)

On recent changes: changed the way patching priority works (gives priority to patches if they exist, otherwise it uses the patch database). Thinking on adding per-game settings (so that it remembers settings for games if the user decides so). Added support for PocketNES (.nes), SMSAdvance (.sms), WataraSupervision (.sv) and NeoGeo pocket Color (.ngc). These require the emulator to be present in the SD card (as opposed to goomba color that is built-in in the firmware).

Stay tuned for release 0.12!

Horray! I think SMSAdvance can also do .gg and .sg roms as well!

First of all, I'm very amazed that it even supports 128kb saves, I'm able to see the Hall of Fame in Pokemon now. Needless to say about direct save.

But on the other hand, I can't open the Final Fantasy games, they're stuck in whitescreen. I tried with patching, no patching, boot in BIOS, but nothing seems to work.

I had to do the patching with supercard software in windows xp. Windows 10 didn't patch them correctly

I just played Yoshi Island and Sonic Advance using cheats, it felt really good, for GBA platformer, fighting and racing games I think cheats are a must.

how do I add cheats for other game titles? Or how to make one?

Heh you are right, the FF games do have a bug. I just found it and I'm gonna release updated patches in the next version I upload. Sorry for that!

For cheats, there's a repo, but only contains a couple. I will be adding more cheats in the next weeks (porting them from libretro-database). If you are interested in any particular games, feel free to ask.

Thanks, it would be great to be able to use cheats on fighting games like Street Fighter 3 and shooter games like CT Special Force/Gunstar Superheroes
