@zat3am Everything seems OK, maybe it's a problem with an other module (clean your "atmosphere/contents" folder except Sys-patch folder and reboot the console to test), with the SD or with something corrupted into the emunand, for these two possibilities it will be more difficult to identify the problem so you will probably need to reinstall everything and if your SD is in EXFAT format it in FAT32.

I'm using sys-patch 1.5.2 in FW 18.1 atmosphere 1.7.1
Still in FW 18.1 but updated atmosphere to 1.8.0 and sys-patch ti 1.5.6 with clean config.ini

Is it right that there is different patches?

for example [es] only patch unto 3, however in previous version it patch from 1 to 7
in new one I have a [ssl] flag and three disablecaverification1=1 disablecaverification2=1 disablecaverification3=1
and [fs] has changed a bit too. The previous config has a "noncasigchk_new2=1" that new config nor

And there is different denominations with "nocntchk=1" "nocntchk2=1" instead of "nocntchk_old=1" "nocntchk_new=1"

I paste both

last config
Code:
[options]
patch_sysmmc=1
patch_emummc=1
enable_logging=1
version_skip=1
clean_config=1
[fs]
noacidsigchk1=1
noacidsigchk2=1
noncasigchk_old=1
noncasigchk_new=1
nocntchk=1
nocntchk2=1
[ldr]
noacidsigchk=1
[es]
es1=1
es2=1
es3=1
[nifm]
ctest=1
[nim]
nim=1
[ssl]
disablecaverification1=1
disablecaverification2=1
disablecaverification3=1

old one

Code:

patch_emummc=1
enable_logging=1
version_skip=1
[fs]
noacidsigchk1=1
noacidsigchk2=1

es4=1
es5=1
es6=1
es7=1

Yes, some patches patterns have changed so some patches are not needed anymore. For ames of patch they are different for some patches. And no, SSL patches should be disabled by default (set to "0") so you have changed the default config to enable patches that you don't know what they do.

Hello, thanks for replying and your suggestion, i've followed deleting and modifying the files you mentioned (everything is backed up so no worries if i messed up somehow) but the problem still is present, old games work fine, new stuff doesn't work (either corrupt data error or can't start software);

this is the current log:

View attachment 482283

and this was the old one before removing the sig-patch files but i think i already had the kip1patch from hekate_ipl removed:

View attachment 482284

it's kinda weird, i feel they should be reversed ?

i also attached few images for the toggles from Tesla menu, maybe i missed changing something basic or they do resonate somehow with applying the patches accordingly.

thank you for your suggestion, the problem still is present unfortunately,

right now i think my options are :

1- redo the update process from a previous backup again (my latest in cfw is 18.1.0) and i also have a fairly old one (cfw 16.x.x)
before i started updating with my beginner hands; maybe following the impeeza guide this time.

2 - try the fusee.bin method with sig-patch since it works for some people (but i'm not sure i quite understand what i should do for this option yet), i keep this switch offline on both ofw and cfw unless i need to update the stock system from normal settings.

3- start from scratch but i have no clue where to get the required files if the HATs pack is not trustworthy.
I seem to recall that sys-patch 1.5.6 doesnt work for firmware versions below 19.0.0 - @impeeza may be able to clarify. Regarding the HATS pack, which one did you use, and what do you want installed on your Switch? If you have an idea, people willing to help in this thread can post individual github links for the components you want. Helps to get suggestions if there are several options available. For instance, i see you are running Tinfoil from the screenshots you posted - personally wouldn't recommend it for beginners as there is a lot that can go wrong with it. Alternatives are DBI or TinWoo. To save combing over multiple threads, DBI no longer recieves updates in English, but the most recent English version seems to do the job. TinWoo is actively maintained. Good luck, and keep us posted, most are happy to help! :grog:

Sys-patch 1.5.5 and 1.5.6 are not compatible with Atmosphere version lesser than 1.8.0, console's firmware has nothing to do with it. If we want we can do a version compatible with Atmosphere lesser than 1.8.0 only, just need to edit the json file of the module to remove the "force_debug_prod" line and recompile it.

i've never used anything from HATS before, i bought this switch already modded (chip is instinct v6) couple of years ago and only entered the scene for updating it using the NH guide along with sig-patches and latest mission control files.
so i guess i'll be trying the process from scratch on a separate SD and see where that leads;
thanks again for the advises and all your replies guys! kindly appreciated!

Hello everyone and thank you for your help and work.
Sorry for my very bad english.

I don't know if I'm in the right section for this problem @impeeza ? @ShadowOne333 ?

Help me please I can't find a solution.
Boot PC TegraRcmGUI_v2.6_portable hekate_ctcaer_6.2.1.bin to hekate menu ok (1 second ok)
launch the emunand and there before arriving on the HB menu 20 to 25 minutes minimun ???
after everything works well emulator games except latency at times or video that does not pass.(example zelda echoes - I finished the game. Too bad for the opening video.)
but all games and emulator are ok the tesla MENU is very slow it is very annoying to browse the amiboo collection (460).

FROM 1.3.1 to (1.6.2 - 1.7.0.1) (120 backups and psx and nes and snes) I will never have any problem with a larger list of games and more roms. I did not use syspatch but sigpatches (all my syspacth are ok and everything launches) just the problem of booting 25 minutes and the latency '25 / 5 000
in the middle of the game at times) and the use of the tesla menu which is very very slow to react

I went from version (1.6.2 - 1.7.0.1 sigpatches) to version firmware_18.0.1_-_Atmosphere_1.7.0_-_Hekate_6.1.1 and the boot latency problem appeared then later 1.8.1.0 AMS 1.7.1 the problem persisted so change of micro sd.

My Version 1.8.1.0 AMS 1.7.1 E Micro SD 1To + de 100 backups retroarch romset fbeo reduced by half

Migration SD card 1 to to us sd card 1 to (format fat32) same problem. try packs like HAT or DEEEP SEA or Switch_AIO_LS_pack
i also tried the 3 kittens. same problem
test in hekate bit correction (no problem).

That's a way too long time to get into HB menu... Are you sure your SD cards are legit and working properly? There's no way to check if they work properly without formatting them and testing with program like h2testw.

tesla MENU is very slow it is very annoying to browse the amiboo collection (460)
For me lags usually occur when there are way too many amiibo BIN files inside a single folder. Separate them into multiple folders and it should work better. It might even work better if there are no image files as well.

Sadly, I can't really help you out with your issue. You probably have the correct sigpatches and sys-patch for the versions you're on and it should be working properly. I'd advise against using HATS and DeepSea packs if you don't know what you're doing. Any all-in-one pack, really.

Hello Blythe93 and thank you for your "response. The 1 TB Sandisk and Kingston micro SD cards ... it bothers me to format I have too many games and backups + 100 backups between me my children and wife and for Tesla and Amiboo I make files as you advise me thank you again

Hi, just want to let anyone that is having issues starting games on FW 19.0.1 AMS 1.8.0 know that SaltyNX needs to be disabled for sys-patch 1.5.5 to work. :(

same happened to me. I updated my switch by mistake 2 weeks ago and haven't got it booted until last night after updating atmosphere, but then the games weren't working... I merged the 2 folders from the download link from Impeeza to the root of my switch sd and my games still won't start. it says "unable to start software rerun to home menu"... someone please help. peace and love

Make sure you have the latest firmware (19.0.1), Atmosphere (1.8.0), Hekate (6.2.2), sys-patch (1.5.6) and, if you're using it, MissonControl (0.12.0). Make sure to reboot your Switch at least once after you update sys-patch. If that doesn't fix the games not working, try reinstalling those games (with the latest update as well) with latest DBI or TinWoo Installer.

Does the game usually require linked NNID in order to work? If so, you can use linkalho to generate a fake one.

hi need some advise.. does atmosphere, hekate and sigpatches saved on sdcard? can i backup 2 different version? 1 older version in 1 sdcard, while another newer in another sdcard... in any cases if the one stop working i can still have the old version in the other sdcard?

Well, if you're using file-based emuNAND, you can simply copy the stuff over to another SD card of the same or bigger size and then you can update one of them and see if it works.
If you're using partition-based emuNAND, you backup your emuNAND and restore it to another SD card, again, of the same or bigger size. Once again, you can update one of them and see if it still works after an update.

However, that does seem a bit redundant and in most cases unnecessary unless your CFW setup is so messy and full of homebrew stuff, plugins and mods that only God knows if it'll work after an update.

From what I can tell, if you're like me and ONLY playing Switch backups, latest and greatest work properly. I'm on the latest firmware, Atmosphere, Hekate and sys-patch (as well as DBI and MissionControl, which I personally use).

Apologies in advance for asking a question that I'm gonna assume has been asked several times before (I couldn't think of a suitable search 'phrase' for this specific situation), but will the the modified fusee.bin linked from the first page work with the latest publically available stable of Atmosphere, assuming the presence of the latest 'patches' (amongst other necessary 'tools')?

BTW, my unit is currently on 18.x firmware, thus i'd also like to ask if I should try to update in the first place...

Wouldn't work on 19.x.x since that modified fusee came out before latest Atmosphere build
