And the first SP was worse somehow![]()
I don't agree with that. They were both equally terrible for playing Game Boy games. If you're playing GBA games, it can be harder to make out what's going on because there are a lot more colors on screen and there isn't always the high contrast between different elements of the image. But that isn't a fault of the screen. For a fair comparison, both have to be running the same game.Screen GameBoy Color was cleaner and easier to see image than GBA. In addition, I have the impression that the GBA screen was darker. Do you agree with that?

I played the same games a lot on both, and I remember them both looking equally terrible.I mean orginal GameBoy or GameBoy Color games (not GBA games) looking worse on GBA screen than GBC screen
I can easy to see image on my GBC but screen GBA is very darkI played the same games a lot on both, and I remember them both looking equally terrible.
Different like 3 sisters, one has ugly teeth. one is cross-eyed and one drools..The reflective GBA screens are indeed a little darker than the GBC screen due to manufacturing differences leading to a slightly different color range.
This is why for example the Zelda Oracle titles have a lighter palette when played on a GBA, and why some of the early GBA games look so washed out when played on an emulator using a modern sRGB screen.
But I don't agree that they were worse, just different.
