The right trigger button (left joycon) stopped working, ordered this, hope this will fix it...
Also some hall-effect thingies for good measure :)

Be really careful with the ribbon connectors. Also either replace the screws for the joycon shell or be extra careful and gentle with them because they're soft and strip really easily. Like if you find yourself opening it up a second or third time then definitely get some replacement screws before you can't get in any more.

Sorry if you know all this but 🤷

Unlike my girlfriend I am not all-knowing, so I will be extra careful! The biggest problems will be clumsiness, thick fingers and degrading eyesight...

@impeeza I'm loving my keyboard, how is yours treating you?

It's my best keyboard in the last decade, it feels like the one in my first computer!! I'm in MacDonald mode (I am loving it)
The only problem is some small disconnections on Bluetooth mode I created a support ticket but can be rf contamination on my setup

Picked up one of these:

I'm not a big Atari 2600 fan, but I like mini consoles and I love the aesthetic of the VCS.
I had the original version of that console when it was first released in 1976/77. WE had a motorbike game for it where you jumped off a ramp and pong.

Bought a ticket to a local reptile expo and pre-ordered five scorplings (baby scorpions) and a dwarf sling (baby tarantula) for pickup; I also got another sling free with the order.

Haven't had any scorpions in about five or six years. I've had species that could kill me or seriously injure me with a sting (never been stung), but those became illegal in my city, so I had to get rid of them. These ones I got have a sting similar to a bee sting, so no real harm.

I got a knockoff when I was young, early 1980's. It had 64 games included on a internal memory chip great memories. My father loved a "construction" game, you easpresented a building at start and you had to reproduce it with a guy laying down "bricks" 🥰

I’ll try the bt, i’ve been using it wired only. The worst part is using the shitty mushy keyboards at work…

By the way the restaurant name is a internal joke between the owners "Jet Wu" can be translated as "Chinese Restaurant"

went to buy my little brother something for his birthday, ended up buying two sonny angel hippers as well.

these are more likely than not fake...they were 100 pesos (less than 5 USD) a piece, while the real ones retail for around ~1000 pesos. but theyre cute, and theyre very good quality nonetheless...

the paintjob is a bit off, ands theres a bit of plastic seams (you can see them more in the second picture, i dont know what the term is in english...ive been scraping it off with my nail, its barely there anymore.) but the paint quality and mold are pretty good.

in the end it doesnt matter if its real or bootleg...i think its cute and thats what matters. im going to give the bunny one to a friend (she knows its a bootleg and also doesnt care lol)

i ended up putting it in my 3DS because i dont want someone to see it on my phone, think i actually have money, and rob me...i might go back and buy one for my mom, since when i showed them to her she thought they were adorable.
