Hi guys, I need help for my modded unpatched switch v1. I borrow it to my friend and he accidentally connected my switch to Wi-fi. At the moment, the firmware update has downloaded but yet to be installed. The atmosphere software still can function normally and all the games is still playable? Should i format my switch/ can i delete the downloaded software update?

Currently, the system notifications will pop up and asking me to update. However i can still use it normally if i just ignored it and press start software.

If you don't have right knowledge of cfw. Then don't update
And unfortunately there is a possibility that u could be banned.
If you did that on emummc then probably it would be fine but from what I see, you are on sysmmc so.. gl

Well it is probably going to get banned. If the game has any installed NSPs on it it is automatically flagged. However they are unable to ban if the device never connects to Nintendo's servers. It appears though that they are not blocking Nintendo's servers in any way.

Installing CFW won't fix the ban.
I dont recall getting ban or updating firmware would physically delete any game. Update your cfw software to make it run
