Kick streamer Johnny Somali is currently ban from leaving south korea awaiting prosecution for his actions of drug use, obstruction of business in a 7/11, and using a deepfake gf of a korean streamer. Personally I think he deserves the jailtime, What about you all?

Says in the article he got it issued in Israel. And an "emergency passport" isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card, it's just a replacement passport the US embassy can issue if the original is lost or stolen. If he is banned from leaving Korea, he will be stopped at the border passport or not. It's not like he's seeking asylum in the embassy, or was last seen rowing out to sea in an inflatable raft. I see no "attempt to flee."

Some of his Discord users advised him to flee to Jeju via a train. Anyone with basic geography knowledge would know that Jeju is a far off island. I wish one of the people in his Discord trolled him, and told him to flee to the north. This guy wouldn't survive a day in North Korea. He would probably try to "mouth off" to one of the North Korean guards, like he did to the South Korean police, and end up facing a wall.

I don't know this person, I've never heard of him, his name sounds stupid and fake, &/or him flipping off the camera doesn't warrant our sympathy, but if someone did commit those crimes mentioned in the topic post, they should most definitely be arrested.

Unfortunately, it seems much more likely that he'll be enacted into Trump's cabinet.
