Guys time to post you Predictions

Trump will Win but wont get more that 300 Electoral Votes
There's already a prediction thread but... I think Trump will try to declare victory super early to avoid having the early vote and mail-in ballots counted. Once those come in I think he will get wiped out but it won't be clear until late in the night or tomorrow. Trump will cry fraud but I don't think it will do him any good.

HA. I mean, that would be hilarious

its actually how i made my choice this year. not only this site but a couple others ive been on for 10+ years. maybe not the wisest decision but the vitrol and division in this country where people are so polarized that they cant except differences of opinion is what drove me to use that as the guide for the vote. which side is doing less name calling was my formula this time.

i dont always vote this way but i felt that this time it should be the guide.

and i live in a state where my vote is inconsequential because the winner is always one sided. im not battleground state
Erm... I get you want to reward good behavior, but i don't really see the point here. There are foul language people on both sides of the aisle, just as there are decent ones. Online conversations aren't real conversations. We don't see eye to eye, which is why there are fewer mental barriers to say... Well, anything. That's why discussions skew to debates which can devolve in name calling.
The heart of the discussion therein is lost. But while that can make arguments null and void, i don't see why you pick your outcome on a meta level. Like... I'm not keeping scores who behaved more civil (though i do know which side I've got more people put on ignore), but if you happened to agree with my side because i was the more civil one, then you've missed the point i was trying to make. :(

I've said it earlier today, but I repeat it: vote for what you want for the country. Not for the people around you
(even more if said people are just online. Like... I'm not even a us citizen)
Post automatically merged:

With significantly less people voting by mail this year, I think the results will come significantly faster, though maybe not tonight
... I heard all the early voting were record numbers. It's there a difference between early voting and voting by mail?

Usually the totals are combined, but in some states you can vote early by mail or in-person. Others have only the option to vote early in-person.

id argue that people say their feelings more truthfully behind a keyboard than they do in face to face public chats. the true nature of people come out online. the worst of most people that they hide they are willing to show online. so for me its a good place for me to guage what side i wanted to vote for because most the time politics happen behind closed doors and we have no say so once we vote people in.

Truthfully tho

Have you been on 4chan where the young Right hang out? They are insane

The right side of politics is mostly older so has less online presence in general - and when they do - it tends to not be anonymous (Facebook)

So there really isn't an accurate comparison

Former President Donald Trump, who has said he will not concede the presidential election if he loses, stoked rumors of voter fraud on Tuesday before the polls closed.
Trump infamously and falsely claimed the 2020 election was stolen from him by Democrats who rigged the contest for President Joe Biden. After losing, Trump pressured officials in states he lost to try to get them to overturn the results. When that failed, he urged then-Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to certify the election as the presiding officer in Congress. After Pence declined, a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol after Trump held a rally in Washington, D.C., where he told the group to march to the Capitol.

As a result, the former president is under federal indictment in Washington, D.C., and faces state charges in Georgia. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Polls in this election show a tight race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, whose campaign has been working to turn out low-propensity voters, especially in urban areas where Democrats typically dominate. That includes Philadelphia, which could play a pivotal role in helping deliver Pennsylvania – a crucial swing state – to the vice president.
A little before 5 p.m. ET, Trump took to Truth Social and wrote:
A lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia. Law Enforcement coming!!!

It is unclear what set Trump off. Shortly before his post, MSNBC’s Jacob Soboroff reported from a polling place at Temple University in Philadelphia, where the reporter ran into actor Paul Rudd giving out water to the largely young crowd of voters waiting in line to cast ballots.
Trump also baselessly claimed that were it not for “millions” voting illegally in 2016, he would have won the popular vote. Additionally, Trump also baselessly claimed the 2016 Iowa caucuses were rigged after he lost that election.

Just look at a Trump Rally. Those folks don't hold back on their opinion.

They've been doing this for a few weeks already with various frivolous lawsuits and other bogus claims.

So if he does lose the groundwork will have already been laid out and his smooth brain voters are gonna fall for it like they did in 2020.

Hope it's because he can sense he's losing

So tired of hearing this "both sides" bs. It's clearly one side that doesn't like playing by the rules and is constantly throwing tantrums when things don't go their way.

Notice how everything in American politics went downhill as soon as the big cheeto took office in 2016.

So are you guys in USofA ready to begin the new great step in your history, as another country fallen into a dictatorship, if Trump and those MAGA fanatics win ?
They're not, because it is a huge contrast to their values.

And they shouldn't expect to move in Canada, Trudeau is drastically limiting immigration numbers
