There is a game I have been playing on my switch recently called cassette beasts!

()

Super fun game and I think the art style is perfect for the vita.
I tried my luck porting it over and came so extremely close but just don’t have the knowledge to get it to work! If anyone else wants a crack at it I actually found it pretty easy to get setup (it used the godot 3.5 engine) and is way easier than trying to port unity games!

If anyone tries this and needs any help with things like the app images I have them all made up and ready to use, I can also supply the apps and links for instructions on how to get started and what to do, I can will not supply the decompiled game files themselves
as that is simple to do yourself!

OMFG for a moment there, I thought you said "Cassette Breasts" for Vita!!! I'd be all over it!!!

If you don’t have the source code I don’t think it’s possible to just port since the godot lib for vita needs the actual engine/application

unless there is a way to decomp the game?

The source code is available so it should be possible
Although the source isn't available, using GDRE on the pick for another version you can get a limited version. Compile to your preferred target, and replace the pck that it generated with the original one and you should have a working version. You may have to make a mod/patch for filesystem or any other thing this might not support. I don't know much about the PS Vita, so sorry if it is irrelevant.
