Yeah that's total nonsense...there's been no hatred coming from the White House over the last four years, the vitriol has been non-stop from the right and their "news" outlets. Politics as a whole was never half this angry before Trump started his campaign in 2015, you had to tune into niche AM radio broadcasts for that.

Your point of view seems completely devoid of context. The Trump administration had concentration camps for children, Arabic travel bans, delayed/diverted natural disaster aid, attempted blackmail of our allies, worship of dictators, and as the cherry on top, got half a million Americans killed with its total lack of pandemic preparedness. You're really gonna tell people that none of that is worth getting angry about?

Meanwhile, on the flip side, you've got Trumpers angry because brown people, LGBTQ+ people, and women exist. That's their entire grievance with the country as it is now, nothing policy related. That anger is not justifiable or comparable in any way to the anger that people with a lick of common sense are experiencing.

Harris isn't obligated to do an interview with Rogan. She's busy enough as it is traveling around to multiple rallies and following a strict schedule.

If Harris wants to get on the show, she goes to him.
If Rogan wants to get her on the show,  he goes to her.

One could argue the mainstream is becoming irrelevant. Lower viewership, declining trust, and younger people are spending more time online perusing alternative forms of news media. Kind of like the uproar with some newspapers not endorsing Kamala. I think the WaPo has like 2.5 million subscribers.

Joe Rogan is irrelevant to the mainstream. Yeah. Ok.

His "alpha male" schtick mostly appeals to pre-teens who can't vote, another large portion of his listeners simply don't vote, and the rest of them were already die-hard Trumpers. Even Fox has more undecided viewers, which is why Harris did an interview with them instead. There's no equivalent of that for Trump, he'd never go on MSNBC.

True, but I meant more in terms of undecided and swing state voters. Gotta go wherever they are, and Rogan ain't it. Heck, if his endorsement mattered in the least, RFK Jr would still be in the race.
