EXACTLY!!! Trump isn't innocent either.

Trump supporters are well known to stigmatize Biden and Kamala supporters since Trump ran for the president in 2016.

Trump said much, much, much worse than Biden and Kamala.
I honestly wouldn't contest that...however the amount of coverage over both sides rhetoric is extremely skewed. Trump fights back with stunts like the garbage truck to force the lib media to convulse and cover him. Either way he finds a way to get his message out there.

I have been bullied heavily by Trump supporters on FB back in 2016 and 2017, so that was factor for me to avoid the politics on FB.
There are no real winners in politics. Sorry to hear of you unfortunate bullying experience. Personally I do not care much for Trump's antics. He is excessively repetitive and does way to much name calling...but in his defense it is not like the other side can claim any moral high ground. Trump talks the talk but when push comes to shove he is like any other politician who delivers effectively nothing that they promise. Inflation being at low levels made people fee the economy was maybe better than it really was and one can argue he inherited a good economy taking office. He maintained it well until covid and his decisions damaged that economy. Biden got credit for the rebound, but his decision to kill ANWR drove up energy costs and inflation crept in. Can Harris fix it?....Well if she is fortunate enough to get elected she better as the immense pressure of being the first woman president may damage other women candidates in the future on both sides.

Polarized political is extremely ugly and it is worst ever that I saw in 2016, 2020 and 2024. I was voter in 2008 and 2012 so they were much mild when compared to today, also 2004 was nasty because of argue over Iraq war but not horrible when compared to today. In 2012, Tea Party was very hype and they got some of nicest and friendly people to ordinary people like me but they got very rhetoric at Obama, Pelosi and other democrats, so Trump supporters are totally different story - it is more toxic.

I don't dislike Trump supporters as long as they are respectful to others, so same goes to Kamala supporters, also some Kamala supporters got very ugly. The polarization pushed both to have shouting match and fighting.

If Trump win the election, so it will be his last one, so Trump culture likely to be forgotten like McCarthyism after he is no longer in office. Next generation of politics likely focus on other issues. Oh wait, if there is geopolitics, that is going to be an interesting.

I try to refrain from personal attacks and focus more on the trolling trends as the campaign momentum swings wildly as each candidate tries to build momentum in their favor. I think my distaste and lack of trust in mainstream media and generally more conservative views align better with Trump. If Kamala wins I hope her vision translates into results for all American's as whether we want to admit it or not, people are hurting financially and emotionally.

Yes it can. No domestic terrorists on the other side. No nazi either.

Well I guess I value you opinion, and wish you well. I hope your wrong cause if Trump is Hitler (insert any other dictator here) that would be a enormous humble pie I would have to eat and would not be enjoyable. If Trump wins and we avoid a Hitler rebirth I hope you can come to grips with that and continue to be a productive member of society.

By the way that is a pretty good picture of Trump. Thanks for sharing. Team Orange!!

Your standards are abysmally low.

And i notice how you can't refute that and I wish you do one :) enjoying the company of neo nazi should be a no no and yet, you do.

... And how exactly would it be 'avoiding a Hitler rebirth' would Trump win?
From what I see, i only see two differences...
* today's xenophobia isn't after jews but after everyone 'illegal'. Skin color is where it starts, but with Trump already wanting to deport Jack Smith, you know it's just a way of saying 'everyone I don't like' (which was also very much a part of nazi germany)
* trump's age and incompetence means that the real power will quickly shift to Musk and Vance after the election, and I'm not sure of the latter

But even with with these caveats, it's full force that direction : economic isolation, consolidation of power, blaming minorities, fear mongering,... The fact that Trump literally endorses hitler and his generals obviously points to that as well.

Are you imagining putting your...

I am a little confused about the not-so-subtle sexualizing of Tump that this dialogue is heading.

RE: @Taleweaver saying that Hitler had a good choice of color palette does not indicate that he is a good artist. I think people would benefit from nuance. Neither option is a good option. We shouldn't even have allowed it to come to this point. I think everyone could agree on that.

Convicted Felon:
Trump - Yes
Harris - No
Convicted Rapist:
Trump - Yes
Harris - No
Declared Bankruptcy:
Trump - Yes (6 times)
Harris - No
On-Going Legal Troubles:
Trump - Yes
Harris - No

This should be a no-brainer as who should run our country.

TBF, a large number of people who vote for Trump are voting "against the system" that has been leveraged against him in each of these scenarios (confirmation bias). There are several demographics that feel like they have been unfairly labelled because of how "justice" works in the US.

Also, there are an infinite number of things to vote for as opposed to Kamala if we are going by this criteria. Imagining what else can be voted for is much more enjoyable.

He had those bankrupties well before even starting as politician, and his felonies and rape go back before that time as well. And if you look at facts and outcome thus far, the only leveraging going on is in his favor. So while i don't deny that's probably how many rationalize their vote for Trump, it is in practice a validation of the unfair system of justice in the us.

I would agree there's more to vote for than Harris, but Republicans decided to nominate a criminal as candidate, and the system only gives two viable candidates.

Biden was off his meds and escaped from the basement. I'm sure everything will work itself out. Nothing to see here (or hear?)

Putin probably sees the opportunity to cash in on Harris as the underdog on Polymarket cause he is running out of money for his war with all the crushing economic sanctions levied against Russia.
Huh????

And yet Trump who wants to be leader again (and while he was the leader) has a far worse record on this. The double standard again :wtf:
