This Tutorial shows you how to Uncensor and Undub Xenoblade Chronicles X EU/US and repack it back into .app Files so you can install them with the Brazilian Install Method so no Loadiine is needed for this at all.

Requirements :
- Time and Patience
- Downloaded/Ripped Versions of both the JP and the EU/US Version of the Game in (.app Format)
- Java
- Mocha CFW, Haxchi CFW or any kind of Signature Patches on your Wii U
- Ability to read this

1. First of all get both GameVersions EU/US and JP as WupInstaller Package with whatever tool you normally use.

2. Download JNUS Tool from this Thread :

3. Open the config file with your desired Editor like NotePad++ and put in the Wii U Common Key which i can't provide here in line 2. (Hint use google or similar)

4. Copy both Game Versions into Folders Names tmp_TITLEIDHERE for example tmp_00050000101C4C00 for Xenoblade Chronicles X EU. Do the same for the JP Version.
(Just put in the Numbers for your US Version instead.)

5. Hold Shift While being in the JNUS Folder and open a Command Line Window by rightclicking into Empty space. Click "Open Command Window here" to open CMD.
Type in the following command :

java -jar JNUSTool.jar 0005000012345678 (Insert the Title ID there instead of 12345678)

and press Enter.

6. A Window Should open Showing you the Content of the Game. Mark all 3 Folders with a Tick and Press Download and it's gonna Unpack your Game in Loadiine Format (this takes a while it was arround an Hour for me).

7. Do the Same Process with the 2nd Game Version. (Repeat 4-6 for the other Version)




8. Get the Undub Patcher from here :

9. Open the Patcher and set the Source as your JP Version Folder. Important Select the "Content" Folder not the Root. As Destination set the EU/US Version and also set the Content Folder.

10. Select what you want to patch and Click Patch. This is gonna take arround an Hour aswell. When it's done your EU/US Version is already patched and ready to be repacked.



11. Grab the NUSPacker from this Thread :

12. Hold Shift while being in the NUSPacker Folder and open a Command Line Window like before. In the Command Line Window write this :

java -jar NUSPacker.jar -in "inputDir" -out "outputDir" -encryptKeyWith 12345678123456781234567812345678

12.1 Replace "inputdir" with your files location this Time the root folder with "content, "meta" and "code" in it.
12.2 Replace "outputdir" with your desired Folder where it is gonna install your finished Files.
12.3 And replace the Numbers after -encryptKeyWith with the Wii U Common Key again. Again i can't provide that Key here use Google.
12.4 Press Enter



13. Let the Tool do it's magic (can take arround an Hour aswell) and you should have .app files ready to be installed with WupInstaller.


14. Copy the Files to the SD Card and run SigPatches on your Wii U. Boot up WupInstaller after and Install the Game. Don't forget to delete the Old Game before if it's installed. Install the game and make sure you only run the Game with Mocha or Sigpatches on ! Enjoy your Undubbed/Uncensored Game it also works perfectly fine with Patch 1.01E and 1.02U and Online works aswell.

EDIT: Some people have reported issues with the US Version with that Method. I don't know where it comes from if either User Error or the actual Version but with Wii U's being Region Free now anyways i might recommend going with the EU Version instead to be sure it works since i can confirm that myself.


EDIT 2: I advertise against using the Font Option in the Patcher i've got reports that the game doesn't start then and just blackscreens.

I confirmed it`s uncensored but the undub has a slight hiccup at the start as soon as you enter the city the director say some stuff in english.

Hi, I followed the guide to patch the EU step by step but the game is half undubbed half not. (The intro cutscene is jap but the first elma dialogue is eng). Any help?

Didn't test but from reading https://gbatemp.net/threads/xenoblade-chronicle-x-undub.405092/page-20#post-6351997 it should be pretty simple: Follow steps 1 to (including) 10 from the OP.
Now have a look at the backup folder. Find all files in there in the packed folder and copy them to some new, temporary folder. Do not copy files which aren't in the backup folder and keep the folder structure intact.
Create a folder: SD:/sdcaffine/00050000101C4X00/uncensor (replace the X with A or D, depending on your region).
Now copy the content folder (inside of the temporary folder containing only the patched files you grabbed earlier) into this uncensor folder, so you have
SD:/sdcaffine/00050000101C4X00/uncensor/content/folder1/patchedfile.1
SD:/sdcaffine/00050000101C4X00/uncensor/content/folder1/patchedfile.2
SD:/sdcaffine/00050000101C4X00/uncensor/content/folder2/patchedfile.3
and so on.

Tested it on Aroma and it works. I had the undub/uncensored US version on Cemu, finally got a Wii U and couldn't get the game repackaged to install. Was about to just give up then saw this comment. Figured it wouldn't hurt to try so I dragged the content folder from my Cemu install on my sd card (in my case sd:/wiiu/sdcafiine/00050000101c4d00/patch/content) and voices are in Japanese.

This is info that's been floating around for a long time but if you want to use the breast slider you can just use the Japanese version on Cemu, make your character how you want, press X and save the preset. Then quit, go to the Cemu save location (right click the game, click save directory) enter through til you find avatarmakedata and avatarmakedata_. Transfer those to the backups folder for Savemii and load them (backup your old save if you're replacing it), then load your preset.

One thing I notice is voices sometimes go from English to Japanese, probably due to having to load off the SD. But if anyone doesn't want to fiddle around trying to get the game repacked to be installed or doesn't want to/can't use Loadiine, SDCafiine method works on Aroma for the most part.

We have no idea as of yet how they build the game, their might never be an uncensored mod. Thats why its silly to ask for it instantly when they announced it for the Switch. Let it come out first...

I dont think starting this topic on this post has any logic at all. 99% of people looking for uncensor their game was because they wanted to uncensor that girl lol
But there is nothing wrong with that, it's just some sexy costumes for a videogame character...
This nonsense discourse made people reduce her character to it in the past so no one could make any mention of Lin because of people saying the same thing. It's 2025, we got sexualized loli characters accepted on the Xenoblade community like Nia (who looks even younger)

I wonder why they keep censoring stuff in order to appeal to a public these games are not even reaching at all.
But I guess It's better to not have those people complaining about a game they wont even play.
Considering how the uncensor patch was a thing in the smaller Wii U community, I guess we would not take too much time to manage to uncensor the game for the Switch or emulator versions (PC community could go even further lol). It's just a shame how we have to modify the game in order to play it as originally made just because of some Twitter brainrots

We got to know since the announcement that this version of the game will come from the NA release of the game... meaning by that no breasts slider or Lin original outfits.
All we can really do is wait for the modding community to do their work and uncensor the game

So I got this error but it said that the uncensor patch is done. I then use a nuspacker anyway and everything went well, even the install. Though when I launch the game, it went to the main menu just fine but I can't start the new game. It just keeps loading with black screen. Any help?
