Going by the Project 2025 handbook, they won't get those happy 18 years. But hey, Harris & Walz are reaching out to gamers in general. Love one of the comments.

Buddy the Fortnite audience is still minors who probably have limited knowledge on politics. What are they gonna do, convince their parents who already made up their mind on voting who to vote for the other person because their favorite character like Spongebob told them to? There's literally people I know who would vote on parties because it's their "favorite colour" why would anyone wanna reach out to a group that has no involvement in a topic whatsoever, unless you REALLY want that small percentage of gamers that do know what's up, but like . . . is it worth it?

Speaking of Sesame Street....

Huh . . . . you learn something new everyday, Ima shut up now

You think I support that as well? No, you idiot, ANY kind of politics should just stay out of the damn children. You think I be okay if Sesame Street taught me about Osama Bin Laden when I was a kid, and then be pressured to vote on Kerry or Bush?? No, of course not. But gosh damn that logo o_o
What I mean to say is that the world we live in is political by nature. Kids have every right to know why their black or trans classmates are treated differently, and they're going to find out even if you try to withhold that information from them. Politics is either something you have some degree of input with, or something that's inflicted upon you regardless. What's important is that everybody is given the tools and the knowledge to make informed decisions, but Republicans would rather burn books and try to limit access to information as much as possible.

You've got that backwards. The more losing bets placed, the more money the companies rake in.

I think perhaps you don't know anything about betting?

The odds comes from actual humans like me and you placing bets

If Trump wins, the people who lose money are all the ones who bet on Kamala

If Kamala wins, the people who lose money are all the ones who bet on Trump

The betting company makes money either way based on skimming off the top

If you wanted to skew those odds all you have to do is place a huge bet on Trump, then Kamala's odds will go down even further etc (meaning you get more money if you bet on her and she wins)

Did you actually think the betting companies just set those percentages based on how they felt that day?

If this is true, then he's not even trying to hide it, anymore. He's rallying up as many Nazis as possible to probably do another Jan 6th insurrection, but perhaps bigger and worse.

Indeed. They are saying the Nazi part out loud.

(inb4 "they are just joking!")

Some cringe lefty sticks a Nazi swastika onto a trump sign (get it? Cus he's like Hitler!!!) other lefty retards think it's an actual real official Trump sign.
It's not a sticker, and that's not a regular swastika. Official signage being distributed by a pro-Trump PAC.

Yeah that really sucks we're in a timeline where our generational problems is just a state of nature at this point, but I still feel like the age and manner in which some of these topics are introduced should be carefully considered, like I get children are smarter than we think, but there's still limitations where each children at certain developmental stages may not have the capacity to fully understand the concepts, so why should we risk their innocence over complex societal issues that they'll eventually learn as probably early as their pre-teen years. The resources are there, but how much do you trust they can easily handle them, or even care?

It's a nuanced issue, but let's be real: a lot of parents are letting their kids play CoD and GTA at age ten or younger. There's very little nuance in the way they're being introduced to the concepts of war, gun violence, and political satire.

infantilization of the youth is a bad thing, children shouldn't be treated like imbeciles to "shield" them from the reality of the world they live in

No reason to make them sad on purpose, but I think a large part of why people are so depressed nowadays is because they are yearning for some idyllic world that never really existed

Explain the reality of the world, its harshness, and people will better respect the nice things they have

I think immigrants tend to do so well in this country because they know what it's like in the real world from a young age, and actually develop a sense of urgency and motivation to succeed

It's anyone's game at this point, polls as of today show Kamala winning the electoral college

She is ahead just slightly in MI, PA and WI, which is all she needs to get 270
Well, I will still be waiting here for the highly anticipated Trump win. I am really hoping it goes down.

The betting companies employ the very best analysts, statisticians using the most upto date tools, they set their own pre polls.

They would literally lose all their companies money in on bad bet or listened to some guys on a modding video games forum

That's why I said children are smarter than we think, but not enough since their brains are still underdeveloped, maybe the point should be that a balance between exposing children to reality and ensuring that the information is appropriate (Because . . . genocide and abortion, let's save that for later) and present that in a way that delivers a well understanding rather than just fear and pressure them to do something immediately

Why would you bring politics into video games . . . . . video games where the demographic is children . . . . literal children who's just trying to have a innocent and safe childhood. Why do you hate them so much to where you have to shove everything down to their entertainments and be involve with OUR mess that we ADULTS did, not them, WE, let them grow up happy for just 18 years before everything goes downhill for the remaining 70+ years of their lives

You do realize that a lot of adults play video games too right? You also realize that they also see political ads on TV and wherever else right?
