Try running the Archive Bit fix via Hekate. To do so, launch Hekate, click on Tools on the top of the screen, then Arch bit in the bottom right, and lastly Fix Archive Bit on the top left.
running now

Said no change was needed, same error still

HELP please! Unsure what I am missing. Long time modded v1 switch, updated to fw19 this week. First 2-3 games launched after updating gave error "corrupt" so deleted and removed the software. When reinstalling it shows some errors in DBI and the game tile is just blank no image, game will not launch but looks to be the correct size. I was told this is sig patch related, tried the latest shared on the forum no luck. Other games, new games installed both launch no problem. Also, it seems ANY invalid signature nsp/xci will not even try to install. Can someone please advise? Am I loading the wrong payload, or have the wrong bin? Something I must have missed, hoping someone can save my weekend please! Had no issues installing invalid sig items on 18.0.1 which is why I am stumped. Long time reader, appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!!
EDIT: Another example, the new tinfoil forwarder nsp gives the invalid nsp nag when trying to install. If I accept it auto fails spitting out error code 0x001fb402.

saves all backed up - dreading formatting but out of options. Tried EVERYTHING I can think of, and been forum surfing for suggestions all night.

SUCCESS - I did resync system clock but now it is working..... even though sig error the tile is no longer blank!

I'm afraid I made a mess... My switch has an Xecutor chip with SX OS installed years ago. We changed that to atmosphere and haven't looked back.

I wanted to update the switch from 17 to 18.1 to play Mario Party Jamboree. (always fun when the kids would like to play a new game and I'm freeing up my weekend to not brick the switch in updating)

Downloaded atmosphere 1.7.1 with the HATS package (youtube 4jw4nyymWgc). The update itself went 'ok' since I booted into Hekate v6.2.1. When choosing 'launch' I first got 3 options:
- CFW SysMMC
- CFW - EmuMMC
- Stock - SysMMC

When booting into CFW SysMMC I couldn't play any of the games (even when sigpatches were updated) except for Mario Party Jamboree. (mission accomplished you'd think, but now they also wanted to play an old Just dance game. The universe was not on my side :)

All of the other games had a cloud above them, asking to download the missing files.

Reading further on the internet, I found a tip to add a line to the bootloader config (I think), which helped me to get a 4th option in Hekate: "Atmosphere CFW".

I booted the switch and all elder games were playable again. (I confess, a happy dance might have occured)

Now for the strange part:
- Tinfoil can't start, nor does the installer (via 'Album')
- a game I installed earlier (Just Dance 2021) is not visible in Atmosphere CFW, but IS in CFW - SysMMC.
- Tinfoil CAN start in the CFW - SysMMC as well!
- Games can't be installed (Awoo nor DBI, DBI works but they can't be played)

This is where I knew I messed up .

Any ideas how I can start with a clean slate? (keeping my games and saves of course) I'm forever grateful!

--------------

Managed to fix it by starting from a fresh install, and adding:
- project/impeeza/sys-patch (patched sys patch)
- entry.org/ ExosphereDNSMITM (block out nintendo server, after the switch crashed continuously)

Hello, i know this question have been asked many many times before but this is noob paradise so...

Been a while since i modded so just got a question about the FW updating, running AMS 16.0 and HOS 1.5. So when I read the update guide and get to how to update HOS I get abit confused.

Im running dualboot so is it possible to update HOS and then dump or will that lock me out? and if I dont have annother switch to dump HOS from i need to find the FW i need on "internet"?

- a game I installed earlier (Just Dance 2021) is not visible in Atmosphere CFW, but IS in CFW - SysMMC.
"Atmosphere CFW" might be launching the emuNAND (provided you have one), but the game may be installed to the internal memory, therefore visible on CFW - SysMMC. Or maybe the path in the emummc.ini or similar wasn't updated? Those are my guesses anyway.

- Games can't be installed (Awoo nor DBI, DBI works but they can't be played)
Which error are you getting?

Downloading firmware files from the trustworthy source is how I download my Switch firmware files. We can't link to those sites but quick Google search is all it takes to find them, one of them is a website that hosts firmware files for other consoles as well (sadly, anything prior than 18.0.0 got nuked a few months ago, not sure why) and the other one's hosted on a github page. Both of them work just fine.

Ok! thanks for the reply so I take it that I should not update from the "clean" boot.

Regarding the sigpatches and the sysmodule the link takes me to the 1.8 AMS and as far as i understad it you should stay on 1.7.1? and FW 18

You can but unless you're gaming on the stock firmware (i.e. using stock firmware for online and legit games, while keeping hacking and piracy to the emuNAND), It's much easier to just download the firmware from one of the sites on the Internet than to update your stock firmware and then dump it.

I believe that you can update to 19.0.0 and Atmosphere 1.8.0 now that we have a working sys-patch 1.5.3.
I'm still on 18.1.0 and Atmosphere 1.7.1 and using this version of sys-patch and I've seen only one game that apparently requires the latest firmware (Slay the Princess).

If you're using sys-patch, you won't be needing sigpatches anymore as they do the same thing. Doesn't hurt to have both but introduces unnecessary clutter.

Is it normal for emmunand to have slower loading times?
Tears of the Kingdom, for example:
- 22 seconds to load a save file on OFW (with the game installed on the SD Card)
- 30 seconds to load the same save file on emmunand (installed in the same SD Card)

My SD Card is a Sandisk Ultra 512GB SDXC. With partition based emmunand, FAT32.

I'm on the latest firmware (19.0.0). But I had this happening in both 17.0.0 and 18.0.0
