idk where mine got wrong, hope OP can solve this problem for me.
Does studious pancake work for you? Can you try using the formatting from another users hekate file?

Perhaps try removing the “{-- Custom Firmwares --}” parts. Inis in general shouldn’t have sections with “{}“, I don’t think that’s a proper way to comment.

i'll try edit Hekate_IPL.ini similiar with DeepSea Package and NX-Venom, still none works, everytime i try it end up in Hekate.

Lastly i try Studious Pancake like you suggested, it works fine.
So what is wrong with my Ultrahand?

can you post your updated hekate_ipl.ini again? did you end up removing all `{}` parts?

I still see `{}` in your ini btw. That could cause problems if the ini reading methods don't understand what that is. Hekate coded their ini methods a bit differently, so having `{}` might not have problems there (as well as in StudiosPancake), but in general there isn't really a reason why `{}` should ever be included on its own single line in a standard ini file. The more appropriate way to comment in inis is to use `;`

hi ppkantorski, i installed your ultrahand overlay and would like to use the Mod Alchemist but i run into something weird upon trying to select the Mod-Alchemist in ultrahand overlay. Would you be able to advice me ?

. i have ultrahand overlay installed
. i have the .package folder in the switch folder
. the .packages folder contains a package.ini and a config.ini
. i downloaded, unzipped Mod- Alchemist and copy only the Mod -Alchemist folder into switch/.package
. When i reboot, launch ultrahand overlay nothing is displayed under Packages but however if i click on the empty box, im able to see the command such as toggles exefs or mod conversion

am i missing or doing something wrongly ?

strange. have you tried running "Fix Bit Archive" in hekate? If that doesnt work, you can also try deleting `sdmc:/config/ultrahand/packages.ini`.

Strange it appeared after i reboot the console again

Also is the edizon_overlay working? It would hang while trying to use github desktop to clone it

Sir do i need to unzip all the .zip ( StevenND , theboy181 , KeatonTheBot & Fl4sh9174) found inside Mod Alchemist > repos to install the individual support for mod management such as Toggle exeFS Patches and Contents Mod and mod conversion such as convert Pchtxt > ips / cheats?

You can unzip the repos under `Extract Repos` on the menu. But using the repos is optional.

Thank you sir , so meaning the option for mod management such as Toggle exeFS Patches and Contents Mod and mod conversion such as convert Pchtxt > ips / cheats can be used without having to install repos already?

can you help me with this code, for auto brightness only active for "On", "Off" not work, and for brightness doesn't change anything when i slide the bar.

Code:

;mode=toggle
on:
backlight auto on
off:
backlight auto off

[Brightness]
;mode=step_trackbar
;min_value=0
;max_value=10
;steps=11
;on_every_tick=true

For brightness level,
INI:
[Brightness Level]
;mode=trackbar
;min_value=0
;max_value=100
;units=%
;on_every_tick=true
backlight {value}

for auto brightness, it should be
Code:
;mode=toggle

if you wanted to use steps instead, you can do
INI:
[Brightness]
;mode=step_trackbar
;min_value=0
;max_value=100
;units=%
;steps=11
;on_every_tick=true
backlight {value}

i like to ask another question, can i make space in line between Volume and Reboot to? or add another text like |Command.

**Update : Already solved.

I'm on Ultrahand 1.8.0
well, i'm not really sure if its help, but try to use fresh Ultarhand, first delete your Ultrahand ovl in folder /switch/.overlays, and delete Ultrahand folder in /config/ultrahand, after that restart and copy new update Ultrahand, and run for the first time, and check the folder ultrahand in /config/ultrahand, you should find 2 zip file nx-ovlloader inside it.

** don't forget to backup folder in /config/ultrahand first, in case you use some custom setting.
