Although I am not voting, I do hope Trump loses. The idea of having a second term for someone who has proven to be completely incompetent, unqualified, and clearly losing his mind is tragic. I really don’t understand how people can listen to him do nonsense rambling on stage and say, “Yup, that’s definitely someone in the right mind to run this country.”

Unless you actually live in Antartica and not anywhere in the US or ineligible to do so, why not vote? Every vote does matter and that kind of mindset is why some elections whether it be the state or presidential could have been different if people that didn't vote actually, you know, did vote.

Because it's only a betting poll where folks with plenty of money just throw in bets into a pile for whichever side they feel like. It's been confirmed that multiple foreign entrepreneurs are influencing the Polymarket betting poll amongst other people like Elon Musk.
Hence why it's very unreliable to trust anything coming from Polymarket.

Yep, even if you live in NY or California where your vote doesn't mean much for the senate or anything like that, it still goes towards the popular vote. We all know that Trump haaaaaaaaaaaaates the fact that he's never won that majority, and never will.

Having the popular vote become so out of touch with the electoral college results could also let people realize that the system is broken and needs reform.

I have my own political and religious reasons behind abstaining from voting. Even if I did, I wouldn’t vote for either party and thus my vote would still be just as useless. Trust me, you aren’t going to convince me to vote, I’ve long made my decision to abstain

The way it works in the states, you are only really voting for the spokesperson. You dont even get a good choice, the party will just pick who they want anyway. Perfect example is Harris, she was one of the least popular democrats yet here we are. If anyone is actually paying attention, what actually happens doesnt change that much if the president changes, its all part of how they control people.

These polling methods have been woefully outdated for nearly a decade now.

They don't account for the record number of young voters and the surge in women voters after Roe vs Wade being repealed. The best metric to go by are recent elections on state and local levels which Republicans aren't winning.

Keep in mind since 2018 we've kept hearing how Republicans were going to sweep and it doesn't happen.

I'm not guilting anybody, I just explained what happens when one doesn't vote, even more so in a basically two party system. In this case I made it customised to the US presidential election, but the principle is true for virtually any electoral system, except maybe STV / proportional ones.
