Thanks @QuarkTheAwesome @vrda & @ploggy for retroarch Aroma. Is there any plans for a p-uae core for Aroma?

Edit - just gone back though this thread and can see it's being worked on, thanks.
Yes, the Puae and Puae2021 Cores will both be working when the official release is done :)
Speaking of which.. Has the keyboard input issue with the DOSBox core been fixed yet either?
Umm, I dont remember the Dosbox Keyboard issue? So I'd have to say not yet?

Retroarch doesn't see my FAT32 USB drive, where all my vWii roms and stuff are. Is this a known limitation of Aroma environment? Any workaround available now or maybe fix in the future? If not, probably would be good to mention in description.

Aroma RA picks my Fat32 USB Hdd just fine.. That where I have all my roms stored. It should work for you

You're probably using the USB Partition plugin. I have two HDDs, one with a single partition and another one with 2 partitions, neither of them were detected by Retroarch while the plugin was active. Without the plugin both HDDs were detected properly.

Normally I have two hard drives plugged in to WiiU: one for WiiU games and other for vWII games and emulators. Today I tried to load Retroarch only with vWii disk plugged into WiiU and it worked. Also tried to swap USB ports but it doesn't matter. Retroarch could see my fat32 USB drive only if WiiU drive is disconnected.
p.s I don't have ISFShax installed.

Noob ish here. Iv'e been trying to read up on everything since ploggy's post of the ra core on maybe pg 711. Just a few things, appreciate putting this out there, i have some trouble with some roms, and getting a fight stick to work :/ ...

so i look for for roms for cores; fb alpha, final burn neo, mame 2003 plus, etc. . . some roms work, some roms don't. i suppose i'll keep trying roms for other cores, till i can find the other few I'm looking for.

so i have a fight stick that looks something like that, but it has a usb port on he end. The wii u doesn't recognize it. is there some sort of setting on the wiiu i can do to make it recognizable on the wii u? if not, i'm sure some sort of adapter shown on the 2nd pic would do.

the pro controller classic works on ra while attached to a wiimote, but....it shows up as player 2. is there a setting on retro arch to disable the gamepad as a controller so that i can have 2 wiimotes as p1 and p2 (with 1 of them connected to my fight stick)?

cause I'm a lil excited to get the fight stick to work on some fighting games like xmen vs sf...thanks

Does it have to do with ISFShax?
Yeah.

That's good to know. I do have ISFSHAX installed and only tried one HDD at a time, the default plugins seem to work fine, the only optional plugin I have installed is USB Partition, which what prevents my HDD from being detected by Retroarch.

do you have the link for the wiimote cable for usb?

By the way, if you are looking for arcade controllers for Wii U to use RetroArch, there were a couple manufacturers released arcade sticks; Hori and dream GEAR just to name a few. And it recognizes as a Classic Controller! I recommend searching for Wii arcade sticks or Wii arcade controllers at Mercari, eBay or Amazon. Dream Gear arcade controllers may be the cheapest. It needs to attach to a Wiimote for Wii/Wii U in order to work. They work for Wii & Wii U!

Hori Fighting Stick (there was a Tasunoko vs. Capcom one, too)

I might try that if all else fails, thanks. I really like the feel of this fight stick and want to try something to get it to work on my wii u. I found an adapter. I'll see how it goes.

hey all,

amazing work as usual. i just recently tried out a modded PS classic, where you could do a 2x upscale/double the resolution, adjust clock speed, etc. will those features ever make it to wii u retroarch? thanks.

Are there any working SCUMMVM core for AROMA thats working at the moment?

Unlikely, PS Classic has an ARM CPU which happens to have a very fast dynarec compared to the dynarec the WiiU PS1 Core uses, you can adjust the Clock speed tho, through the Core Options... mileage may vary.
