No, those items have specific flags that need to be set in order for them to trigger the events. Hence, using PKHex to edit your save, since it sets the flags properly.

ok, i might be doing some little thing wrong, but I've updated edizon/tesla (also i use ultrahand), updated the cheat list, and ive made sure every other thing is updated, but I cannot get this code to work no matter what... i might just be using it wrong? i remember the original code from base dpp and i assume its meant to work similarly, obviously not the same since its a different source code and all but

This cheat allows you to spawn any pokemon in BDSP via the Poketch Calculator.
Steps are as follows:
1. Enable the "Encounter On" code and this "Poketch Spawn" code.
2. Enter the national dex ID of the pokemon you want to spawn, into the calculator. For example, 151 for Mew.
3. Press the "=" button on the calculator.
4. Press ZR on your switch. (ZR is the big trigger on the right joycon)
5. Walk into grass and encounter your chosen pokemon.

This thread is for BDSP cheats on the Switch and provides support for exclusively the Switch.
To run them, yes, you will need to hack your Switch.

That being said, most of these cheats do work on Emulators, it's just that if you are having issues setting the cheats up or getting them to work on the emulators, this is not the place to ask for help.

Either play on switch, as these cheats are made for the actual console, or remove the
part of the cheat the requires the button press, therefore making it active all the time.

But what part of the Shiny code can be removed, the thing about pressing or holding the L button, because I was checking and in one it says if L but in the other it says end, which one could be left so that it does not depend on pressing the button and it remains active?

I'll have to wait for my Switch to charge before I can check that code.

In the meantime, you can use the "Item ++" cheat, which increases the count every time you use an item, or you could edit your items in PKHex.
