I've played over 15 hours and the game is actually brilliant in places, for a star wars fan to explore Jabba's palace and see Han Solo frozen in carbonite is just insane to me does anyonew else feel the same? I'm glad i decided to ignore the review bomb's and anti ubisoft hate.

In before the "Woke Solo" comments.
I personally dont see any problem playing a game with a female protagonist just like tomb raider and to be honnest i don't picture myself as the character im controlling.

I don't think anyone really say it's a bad game, just your average strand of the mill third person shooters.
But I have a beef with Ubisoft saying "Get used to not owning games".

Yeah there's a lot of bad unfair reviews i did'nt know why there was so much hate for ubisoft so thanks for the heads up but ubisoft hate aside the game is pretty damn good.

Let's wait for a year until it's out of paid beta
it's a lot more stable than cyberpunk on release lol. but every game on this kind of scale has issues just look at skyrim for example the AI NPC'S can still walk through the floor after numerous updates but we all just live with it because its skyrim.

Assholes, make a thread or if you want I'll make it. That's big news.

Edit: just saw they said in January, there's probably already been a thread. Still makes me angry.
Yeah, it's interesting to see how different companies chase the same idea. Microsoft did it with the Xbox One potentially going digital only. They effectively squandered the goodwill the OG Xbox and 360 had built up.

The concept has always gotten a negative reception, but big publishers just don't heed the warnings. "Get comfortable," they say. I certainly wouldn't have phrased it that way, if I were speaking to my potential customers.

Ubisoft was an underdog after Beyond Good & Evil and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time got loads of praise. When the seventh gen hit, they decided they wanted to be EA. They even made a Steam competitor. I feel like Ubisoft has squandered their goodwill steadily over time. Sony's sinking as we speak with sequential PS5 debacles.

Maybe Outlaws is a decent game, but Ubisoft has been accruing bad publicity for a few gens now, so it's no surprise people aren't giving it a fair shake. I haven't played it, but I do have The Ubisoft Expectation, and that's hard to shake.

Decent is not enough for that price tag, plus all the bugs.

Ubisoft and EA need to learn an lesson for continuing to deliver sub par and unpolished (some times even unfinished ) full priced games.
yeah i agree the price is high but that's the way its going now all big companies are upping the price of games. It might be worth getting in a few months when the price drops

But its ridiculous to pay full price for something that is unfinished or full of bugs .

Everybody always hates on Ubisoft games no matter, yes some games deserve that, but not all. Today there was a update released for Outlaws with over 100 bug "fixes". Overall I personally have not experienced any bugs yet, and I must say, other high rated games have released with way more bugs than this. Everybody's taste are different, but I am happy I bought it and think my money was worth it.

I decided to buy Star Wars Outlaws for $40 that I found one and this game to be a decent, despite numbers of bugs.

I'm not pay $70 nor $100 for this game and hopefully Ubisoft learn a lesson.

Big plus - you can use other's save on PC version and they are not encrypted, unlike AC and Far Cry games.
