Could i play online on my cfw switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

Is there another file type instead of NSP or XCI i could try?

(im not pay full price for Mario Kart 8 in 2024)

Playing online with ANY pirated game will get you banned no matter what.
If you really want to play with others you can use LDN_MITM which will allow you to play with other non-legit players.

Yes but it's not very likely, and as an aside, I still think people who are doing that are truly pathetic (especially when they can just pirate the games in the first place). Otherwise wait for a sale. I don't know what else to suggest. I buy most of my games second-hand anyway.

You don't even have to play a pirated game online to get banned. Being online with a hacked Switch is enough to potentially get banned. Happened to me a few years ago.

Just running CFW will not get you banned. You must of done something to get a ban.

Only if he used cfw pretty early on, where the error module was not reimplemented, is a full on cfw only ban likely, otherwise you are correct, he did something that triggered his ban.

First as it was mentioned already, it's unlikely. Second, even if they get an already dumped card, it's unlikely his switch gets banned, instead the card itself will likely get banned, not his account or switch. It also only happens if both go online at the same time, or if it was shared online.

I never stated a console nor a user ban. I stated a ban, a simple and plain ban, so you're confirming my saying and at the same time you're trying to correct me for the same reason, which is a contradiction on your side.

For the user a console, account or card ban is a pretty big difference. So in this case its 100% relevant about which type of ban we are talking, and under which conditions it happens.
Also most people assume either a console or account ban, if you just state it would ban them, not the card.
So I guess congrats on being theoretically correct, but leaving out vital info for the reader of this thread.
