Level-5 Vision 2024 announced for tomorrow!

A Level-5 Vision has been scheduled for Sept. 24 at 9:00 PM JST! (5:00 AM PST)
Level-5 has confirmed that all recently announced titles and two completely new ones will appear!

Man, Dark Cloud 2 was 22 years ago! The industry has changed a lot since then, but Level-5's PS2 games were their absolute best. Dragon Quest VIII was an excellent JRPG and a great way to finish off the sixth gen. I still haven't played Ni No Kuni, but I'm looking forward to giving it a shot at some point.

i doubt they will be doing any more dq. as Ni no Kuni II was full of a lot of flaws. the base game was ok except for giving you useless equipment at the end of the game you didn't need

and most of the battles you just spam Higgledies abilities. even the postgame bosses are a pushover.

but what they really fucked up was the postgame you couldn't build stuff until you finished the game but by that point again it was pointless to build them since you get all the best gear in the final dungeon. the postgame was kind of a waste

Yeah, Square-Enix has been doing DQ games internally since DQX, but Level-5 did an amazing job with VIII. I believe Level-5 did Dragon Quest IX on the DS, but people have been strangely quiet about it. I should play through it myself at some point. Unfortunately, I don't see VIII or IX getting ports/remasters any time soon.
