¡Actualizar! nand.bin funcionó con la restauración. vWii ya no reinicia la Wii U, pero se queda atascado en una pantalla negra después del lanzamiento. al menos estamos llegando a algún lado jajaja

Así que pude usar la herramienta con éxito y restaurar mi vWii a antes de Homebrew, pero todavía obtengo una pantalla negra cuando abro aplicaciones en vWii.

Es posible que esto haya sido un problema antes del Homebrew. ¿Algun consejo?

El problema aparentemente comenzó después de instalar IOS usando d2x cIOS Installer. Sabiendo esto, probé Decaffeinator en los modos ligero y agresivo, pero ninguno solucionó el problema.

Tengo el mismo problema, al instalarlo los IOS me arrojo pantalla negra, por otro lado tengo mi copia NAND original de mi wiiu jap, hice todo los pasos que mencionas y no puedo ingresar a Vwii, solo me arroja pantalla negra y se congela. ¿Has podido solucionarlo?

AYUDA AMIGOS!! Tengo la slccmpt.bin original (habia hecho respaldo de la nand, de mi consola Japo), ocupe "Vwii nand restore" para volver a la vida vwii , carge el archivo slccmpt sin problema en la opción "restaurar nand" pero al ir vWii se queda atascado en una pantalla negra después del lanzamiento, hice por medio de DESCAFFEINE el modo "agresivo" para borrar todo lo que causaría algún problema y volvi a instalar el slccmt por medio dd Vwii nand y no funciona el modo wii. !!AIUDA PORFAVOR AMIGOS!!

Not with this tool because it is for the vwii. For a Wii u backup, you need a hardmod iirc.

Hi every one, I'm facing a little issue. After following all the steps from github and here, it seems that vWii nand restorer can't read my sd card, when I perform an extract nand it says "error opening sd:vwiinand.../extracted"
and when I try restore nand "error opening sd:/vwiinandrestorer/slcmpt.bin.

Is it something you already know about ?
I made my nand backup with nanddumper during the aroma setup.

I'm on aroma but I've installed tiramsu to use this homebrew.

I managed to get this app to work on Tiramisu as of March 2025. For Amora users it is also possible by side booting into the base Tiramisu CFW. I am a new user so I cant post the download links sorry, you have to find them manually.

You will need:
The hb-appstore version of this program. There is also a link from wiiubru out there as well. I did try to attach the zip and add the wiiu folder to your SD Card.
*I did also add the wiiubru link to IA Wayback as well.

Also add your slccmpt.bin and otp.bin from your Wii U NAND backup payload to this folder: root:/vwiinandrestorer

This will not work on Amora CFW, but will be able to run on Tiramisu CFW by holding x on the Wii U Gamepad while booting the console and then selecting Tiramisu.

You will need to then boot the Homebrew Launcher, you can do this by opening Mii Maker and holding x on the Gamepad while booting. If you get an error code while booting Mii Maker, you will need to install the Homebrew Launcher.

When in the homebrew launcher, you can just navigate to the vWii NAND backup banner, boot to it and just run the NAND restore option when in the menu.

The restore can take a while even with a SD card over class 10 bandwidth and very good random read/write (like cards with the A1 label).

Hello there! I have a small problem. I bricked my vwii. I currently am trying to restore it. I'm trying to use vwii nand restorer. I don't have my own nand backup but i found some files that i hope could work(i know they most probably won't). I copied the extracted nand to slccmpt i fixed modes then i hit restore. I thought a slccmpt.bin file would be created but i later found out it wasn't and then i created a black slccmpt.bin file and did those steps again. now i am getting an error that says error determining file type. Does anyone have any idea what i can do?
