I have a question I was trying this game on console with TwiLight, sometimes it gets crashes with red screen or some attacks makes the character stuck, making them unplayable and also needing to restart the game. Is there any patch available for it? The page with the patch is not accesible right now.
If I'm not saying something stupid, this game requires an AP patch, you should try to launch it directly from the kernel of your flashcard depending on the model of your flashcard, this could allow you to play it, personally, I use a R4 Gold Pro SDHC 2016 with this game and so far I haven't had any problems

Hello! I'd really appreciate help applying the translation patch. This is such a cute game and the translation obviously has a lot of love put into it but I'm not very tech literate :(

I downloaded the v0.3d-1 version on github and renamed the .nds file to 5783 - Nora to Toki no Koubou - Kiri no Mori no Majo (J)(BAHAMUT). But I'm stuck on what to do next. I don't see a patch folder to move the .nds to but there is a patch(es) folder? I don't know where the patching script or the nora_apfix.xdelta AP fix file is either.

Hello, first of all I'd like to thank you @Darukeru , amazing job!

I'd like to request help... I applied the patch, verified checksums and everything looks fine... but if I try to apply the AP-Fix using xdeltaUI I receive a checksum mismatch error... I tried applied the AP-Fix before the translation and it didn't work either

Read everything but honestly I don't know how to use xdelta from console to use the provided version, maybe that's my error, since I'm trying to apply it with a UI, nonetheless, I'd like to point out there are no instructions whatsoever regarding applying the AP-Fix or creating a script by oneselve to apply it

If someone could help me and point me in the correct path, I'd really appreciate it!

Also, I'm not having troubles with the translation whatsoever... I'd just like to create the version with the AP-Fix for archival purposes/just in case I ever need it

You're using the source code, you won't find the patch there. Make sure you're getting «nora_eng_v0.3d-1.zip» (CRC32: BC2DCD56)

It was specifically removed from the final release to avoid bugs with real hardware and certain flashcards.

So that is why the checksum is not the same, it is no longer considered part of the patch and is very much a "Use at your own risk" deal.

October 8, 2022: A new REVISION has been released. It removes the hardcoded AP-fix to prevent problems with certain flashcarts. It also resolves a bug that freezes the game on real hardware.

I totally understand that, raxadian. What I mean is that if I try to apply that patch in any order (before/after applying the translation) it simply doesn't work. When applying it, it tells me wrong checksum, it's almost as if the AP-Fix is not working correctly, because it doesn't allow me to apply it neither to a clean one or a translated one

Also, I'm probably mistaking but I feel like this game was translated to Spanish too, yet I cannot find the patch nowhere... maybe Mandela's effect?

If it isn't in some forum or the web archive yeah probably. This is a very hard game to translate. Technically a Spanish translation shouldn't be that hard because is almost the same alphabet, only spanish has the letter ñ but there isn't the same kind of tools you have to mod and translate other console games.

Yeah DS games are a pain, even if we had a lot of DS games mods and translations in recent years I think it is was mostly thanks the popularity of hacking a 3DS/2DS and Twilight menu.

I have been playing this nonstop on Drastic, works like a charm!
Thank you so much for your efforts :toot: this game is definitely up my alley.
hey so... how do you make it work in drastic? i'm new in this thing called emulators and i have no idea how to play this game translation in drastic

Apologies for bumping this thread with a very specific question, but for those who've played this game – where do you get Lenga Tiles? You need three to build a hearth, and hence work towards any of the non-bad endings, but i cannot find them :(

Having absolutely no luck online (both English or Japanese) and the only Japanese wiki i found is giving an incorrect answer (the item it ocmes up when you search the Japanese No.79, which is Aged Mud).
