Ciao! Just wanted to ask if it was safe to log into a premium account? Or would that have a chance of getting the Crunchyroll account banned? I already have a banned switch, so I don't care much about that. Just wondering if I can log into the Crunchyroll account and stay safe. Take care, my apologies if this is an obvious answer. 🙏

It's safe, the mod just bypass the nintendo servers connection.

And done. v1.9 patched.
Hello 😃 is there any version updated for the crunchyroll patch ?
If so, could you please post it ?
Thank you very much 🙏🏻

Edit: Nevermind, this version 1.9 is fully working.

Thank you anyways and sorry for the inconvineance 😅

Hello,
Thanks for the "code":D
But, on my v2 switch 18.1.0, use linkalho to simulate online account: it doesn't retrieve any of the video with a error message on play button on videos.

When I try on my computer on the same video and same network also without any crunchyroll account: no problem.

I have sent the file patch "3FFE1F86EA117F96E5..." inside the exefs_patches crunchpatch folder, and I have done it in Hekate/USB mount.

My goal is to use my paid account but before, I would like to check the free part on my Switch.

So is the 1.9.0 last version ?
Thanks !

Edit: Some precisions:
- I can scroll on the video on the app after selecting "Skip and Explore", but when I try to play a free video, I have this error message "Oops! Something went wrong."
- I have tried to delete the saves: same problem
- In linkalho, I have selected the country where I live before linking accounts.
- No VPN or other things like that, it is a direct wifi connection and works on same wifi network on my computer.

Try with another user on the console.

Hello
Try with another user on the console.
Hello,
Thanks for your advice.
So I have delete all profile, except my main which is not linked.
Then I haved created a new profile I linked with linkalho.
And this time I have put my premium account inside, but same error on all videos I have tried
But I can go in all menus without any problem, even check my account status.
I was also thinking about the hosts.txt file, but it has only the nint* things inside.
I have modded my Switch myself with picofly (updated to 2.80 firmware).
Not a single issue with it, and I have made my own Hekate package with icon, boot, some tesla plugin etc...

So I don't really understand what is happening, and will continue to dig inside this problem (but for now, I have no idea where to look).
Maybe a bug with linkalho, I have to find another .nro to do the same thing.

Some news, but fail

I have put a 128Go Sandisk Extreme SD Card (from my camera) to do all from scratch, with the original Shetix HATS 1.71-5 pack, create new emuMMC extracted from the genuine 16.10 firmware inside SysMMC of my Switch v2 : same problem "Oops! Something went wrong." after the little orange circle at the bottom left.
I have also tried to upgrade to 18.10 with Daybreak: same problem.

Some questions (to help me) to those who Crunchyroll works well on their switch:
1) Which emuMMC/AMS firmware version do you use ?
2) Have you linked the account with linkalho or another .nro ?
3) Have you hide your NSW serial in the "exosphere.ini" with "blank_prodinfo_sysmmc=1" and "blank_prodinfo_emummc=1" ?
4) Do you put the patch file inside "atmosphere\exefs_patches\CrunchPatch\" folder
or as the 1.5.0 version here "atmosphere\exefs_patches\cromchroll\" ?
(file "3FFE1F86EA117F96E5104AB66382DEBC00000000000000000000000000000000.ips", 19 bytes size)

Also, could you share the files inside the "atmosphere\hosts\" folder (or copy the content as it is text value) ?

Thanks for helping me :)

Edit 2024/11/04: I have tried with another empty SD card from scratch.
Not a single way to make this work :(
And if I try without the .ips file from scratch also: I have exactlly the same problem.
=>So I'm pretty sure that there is a problem with the .IPS file, or maybe some missmatch with my Crunchyroll 1.9.0 installation.
Also, I have reversed the .isp to pchtxt file, and I think I have a problem with the line
@nsobid-3FFE1F86EA117F96E5104AB66382DEBC00000000000000000000000000000000
@disabled 009E2498 1F140071
which may not be the good offset one for me.
But I'm stuck as I have some lack of knowledge for that

Has anyone else had issue launching the application?
Mine was working fine few weeks ago, nothing was changed on my console but now the app loads past the nintendo switch logo then black screen, then crashes.

this reminds me of the nopsn pkgs days on ps3, btw anyway to port this to other video apps like youtube?

was there a recent app update past 1.90?

Nope, latest version on nintendo store is still 1.9.0

And regarding YouTube, there was a patched nsp version of Youtube that skipped the connection with Nintendo servers.
No ips patches for youtube as far I'm aware.

You need the base nsp and its update, and the patch if you're have atmosphere blocking nintendo or if your swtich is banned.

But for some reasons, whatever worked before stopped and nothing on my setup has changed.
Ill do some testing on a vpn, maybe its a local network issue.
I was hope to hear more user facing this issue but in a way, if it only affect me, then my setup must be the issue.
