I see two idiotic children in this comic and it is not funny. To be fair it is plausible. This could happen! →

Children: From the proportions given by the windows they are too small to be average adults.
Idiot 1: Unable to overcome social anxiety(?) even in a moment of imminent danger. I have phone phobia myself, but I could call emergency central.
Idiot 2: Doesn't jump out of the window despite about to get burned alive. That is hardly 2.5m. If sitting down on the window ledge outside and gradually lowering yourself as far as possible before letting yourself fall on the grass… that won't even injure a kid the least. Hell, overweight and aging LittleSinchen could do that. In fact I did something similar (2 meters down from a ledge on concrete) because someone else was just using the ladder I used to get up somewhere.

At least there is not a third idiot using their phone to take a video instead of helping.
