I have this aftermarket WBB called Bigben, BB3251. It does not sync. It blinks forever, but just does not connect. I opened it, but there isn't anything weird. Here are a few picture (tell me if I need to open the battery part too).

You do know you're 1 battery short ?
Placing the board on carpet could be a issue (hard-floor).
Check the USB plug & Wii slot. Battery test wouldn't do any harm.
Or simply test if it works on a friend's Wii.

Try the other stuff I mentioned.
Also bring the board as close as possible to the Wii (in case of poor reception).
Perhaps clean/polish the so called "antenna". I assume the WiiMote works fine ?

you probably had used the wii balance board for a long time. this can happen with wii remotes, too. try holding the wii's sync button for 10 seconds. first reconnect the wii remote. then connect the wii balance board. did it work? if not, your wii balance board is already connected to a wii. first disconnect the wii balance board from that wii, and then try connecting it to the other wii.

Where is the antenna?
Your board is unknown to me, but my guess is it's the middle part, on the longer outer wall.
At least one wire-plug looks slanted. Look at your pics.
You can also try unplugging all the connectors & reconnecting them (do it cautiously). Include the feet plugs. Or at least give them some working motion, in case they could be sticky.

How long ago was it used last ?

Will try.

I reconnected them, can you please circle it on the picture? (Antenna location)
Said new, but that is 99% a lie.

Also, the wires in the middle are for a scale

If it's one of these, then it is not it.

It's like it's synced to something else, even though I did what yogirlalayssa told me. Held on both, nothing. It turns on, just does not sync.

make sure P4 is open, and that there is no wii remote in P4. if that doesn't work, check the batteries. the batteries might be old. i remember my wii balance board didn't turn on and sync, and the only problem was that it needed new batteries.

Will try tommorow. Not sure if I have a game that support the board.

Don't have a game that supports it. Can I maybe install a .WAD that supports the Balance Board? Will that work?

Try googling about your board & find some reviews. At least that may give some indication if it's a cheap knock-off or simply not fully compatible.

If that's the power button, then have a closer look to make sure it's not broken or stuck. Not sure if the board has power lights.

It has a scale, like I mentioned, and it works. There is also a power light where the button is, just blinking. It's like it's a phone without the OS. It's still a phone, but not really.
Will Google.

Not much. The board and someone with the same problem, but I already did both answers.

you were putting the wii balance board too close to the wii to sync it.
the manual of the wii balance board says:
the wii balance board should be located directly in front of your tv as shown below, with the wii remote between 3 and 10 feet (1 and 3 meters) from the sensor bar. the power button faces away from the tv.

place your wii balance board about 3 feet away from the tv. then turn the wii balance board upside down to sync it.

So, the Wiimote is another factor here?

The blob is supposedly a Bluetooth interface to communicate with the Wii's internal wireless module, same with the Wiimotes.
