F-Zero99 - Possible Mod to play game offline against CPU?

I want to ask, if it is possible to mod F-Zero 99 to play offline against CPU only?
It seems, that CPU-mechanics are in the game.

Yeah, as you mentioned, theres a base level of NPC/bots in the game but it would require bypassing the N server check, bypassing N server match making, making a local game, coding all of those would be players to be bots.

I feel like the most likely thing here is to hope Nintendo makes an offline DLC like they did with Tetris 99.

I hope they do this cus the games going to be terminated at some point.

At least Tetris 99/Pacman 99 have offline dlc modes.

Dude...the game is for free. Why do you want to play that offline?
You need Switch Online, don't you?
If that isn't the case, I would prolly look into setting up emunand and installing only f-zero 99 on it, kinda want to try the game out.

I don't suppose it would help to put up a bounty for this idea?
I'd throw some money at it.
I'd love to complete this game offline, against bots I can actually beat.
