Need help on what phone to buy!

This is a cellphone by the way. Right now, i have a :
LG VX9400 TV Phone $200 but online, $50 off. First of all, to get the TV function, you have to pay $15 a month. My dad wont accept it. I had a 1 month free of mobile TV. Was actually fine. But now, without the TV function, there is like no reason to have the phone.
What i want/wanted this: A Sidekick LX OR Slide. BUT!!!!
LX+Slide Compared.

The price range: LX=$300 Slide=$200
All i pretty much want is:
A phone that is like Aim functional. But has a full keypad. I dont want a smartphone/PDA. But the sidekick is somthing like that.
What is the differance between the LX+Slide? Obviously the Slide, the screen SLIDE up. And the LX rotates like 180. But excluding the price range, what is the differance btw it?

I currently have a Verizon Phone. I actually got this phone for free since my father used to work and owned over 5 Verizon stores. And had that phone left. I took that. Im pretty sure my contract is over. And i am in high school. I am not black.

Erm first, TV+Computer was a suggestion. It was after i get my 360.

Verizon offers no phones worth owning. LG makes garbage, the Blackberry Devices Verizon offers are all old, the Windows Mobile devices Verizon offers are a joke.

Perhaps you would be better suited switching to AT&T.
