I just made a file based emummc in hekate and I made sure it was enabled but whenever I try to launch the emummc it gives me the error that it isn't enabled. After the error when I go to the emummc page it says disabled. Am I an idiot?

First of all, don't use file based emuNAND, it has lower performance and higher risk of data corruption.
Second of all, you need to make sure the correct emuNAND is selected in emummc.ini or in Hekate settings.
