i get mines last week,cant update via pc,so what for the buttons then?? boot boton?,we install one then in brand new oled,console start fine,we test like 5 times and everything was fine,after 5 successul booting,the console is dead,only black screen,chip only have solid blue light,and the screen show 2 times pink screen and now is totally dead,no show anything than black screen,we try everything and cant fix it,this never happen with the old real hwfly!

Looks like a faulty chip.

I don't know why some of you think buying from X store named "GameGirl Store" is a good idea. Many of them sell fake or faulty chips to make a fast buck. The next minute they are poof gone.

What reputable seller? 12 years ago? If you mean a buying agent, he's not accountable for supplying the chips. He's just another unnecessary middle man.

i ordered some of these but they have not arrived yet. Do they update fine from picofly toolbox or do you need to solder a usb cable at the pads? Also how are the glitch times compared to instinct-nx?
Seller told me that they come with version 2.6

If I'm not mistaken, I see two wires coming off of his CPU pad, which would indicate a double MOSFET install.

EDIT: At a second glance, looks like rather than two wires, I'm just seeing the split insulation. Likelier answer is a chopped HWFLY Flex cable and he is hitting the resistor on the underside of the flex which resides in the area between APU and RAM.

I would say it's more on the "corrupting" side rather than actual burning/frying.

It make sense if you can read. Frying the emmc doesnt means burning the console.

I don't think it works like that - it's just the USB of the RP2040, to be soldered to its own USB connector once (for programming), and then removed before installation.

Welp turns out it works exactly like that.

I wired up d+ and -. held the button on the pico, pressed power and boom. I can write to the rp2040 over the switches usb c port.
This is huge! now if the chip is blank, no button will need to be held. It should just come up on windows.
