is this ever gonna be continued or atleast get opensource so other people continue working on this? Some of my Gameboy Hacks with Color still show up in black and white so I have to use retroarch with gambatte BUT for pure Gameboy Games with SGB Support I can't set the emulated device to SGB cause it doesn't exist in the core options in NSUI v28 I can set the color to automatic and gbc but it doesn't look as good as the SGB Version, running retroarch manually and then launching the game rom works perfectly cause I can set SGB there

Hey, I just tried the nsui-beta28 with a GBA Rom, the game runs on the 3DS after the CIA is installed, but i can't save the game. If I restart the game alle the progress is gone, its like a new game then. Even if I explicitly want to save a score in the game, the entry simply disappears after the restart.

Make sure you have the correct save type selected in NSUI for the rom you're using. GBA especially is a mess of different save types because they were in the middle of switching from battery-backed SRAM to EEPROM flash memory for save data. IIRC GBATemp has a database somewhere in the "Downloads" section, but you can also Google "[GAME NAME] save type" if you need to.

Hey, thanks for the reply. The game is "LEGO Star Wars the video game". I asked google... i found out that it uses EEPROM_v124.
NSUI selects automatically EEPROM 8K. Is this now correct? I tried it with this but it didn't work.

I don't know anything about that game off the top of my head and a cursory Googling didn't reveal anything more conclusive that what you've found. You could try making a .cia with the other EEPROM save type and see if it works.

I'm trying to convert a Famicom disk game to a .cia. However, I keep getting a message that says "Error! Bios file for Famicom Disk System is not specified. Please configure it in options (Bios tab)." There are no instructions as to how to do this. The tutorial only shows how to convert a Game Boy Advance game which is obviousy different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the event something of this nature has already been posted in this thread, I apologize. In my experience, no one ever seems to have to same problems I do so I can never find any actual help. Again, thanks.

EDIT: Ne'er mind, I actually figured it out. I can't believe it either. It had been vexing me for a while.

I tried it again with the EEPROM 8k (alt). It's the same, it didn't create a save game just like EEPROM 8k. I tried it with the other ones too but it wont work :(

did see "Link" which might help with v124.

thanks for the link, but the download for the v124 patcher doesn't work anymore ...

Update: I found another place to download it. I done the patching of the ROM and created a new CIA with the NSUI but the problem is still there :/

Can you post your solution in case somebody else has the same problem

Hello to all. The Panzer Dragoon Mini Game Gear injection, freezes at the Beginning of stages and in the sound test of Stages 1, 3 and 5. I tried Ultimate Game Gear Injector 1.2 and NSUI 28, but no luck . Does anyone have any clues on how could edit the .cia to fix this?

I’m encountering problems with Playstation injection. Most glaringly, the RetroArch Menu has garbled text:

Just a little question, when injecting a SNES game which is incompatible with the oficial VC emulator, what emulator i should select instead? Snes9x or CATSFC? btw i'm a New 3DS user
