Homebrew [NDS] Yet Another nds-bootstrap Forwarder: more than 40 forwarders are now possible

is there anyway to make a 3dsx version of this? i have so many ds games on my sd card i think it would be really really awesome if i could make a bunch of 3dsx and just pop them into the 3ds folder. i'm pretty sure 3dsx files have their own romfs too but they need to be compiled with the path inside of them.

Is widescreen.pck supposed to act as a widescreen patch? Because I can't get widescreen to work with my forwards. I also tried downloading TwPatch and installing it's Widescreen file in the same folder as widescreen.pck but I had no luck with that either. Is there anything else I can do?

I don't know if using the twl patcher by @Sono iirc would work for this or not, but the file for widescreen is a cxi file. however, I've never used this (no longer use forwarders at all).

Wide screen works perfectly fine for me using the forwarders.

At this point just use TWiLight Menu++?

Making a 3dsx version of forwarders defeats the point of the forwarders, you have to go inside another menu to select the game, which TWiLight literally does.

For it to work you also need twighlight menu on your 3ds then for widescreen to work follow the link here.

Yes but did you install twighlight menu?

Did you enable external FIRMs and modules in the luma config menu?

Did you enable widescreen in the ntr-forworder options menu?

If you boot games directly from twighlightmenu ae they showing in widescreen?

Edit wait a moment. On your sd card go into the luma folder. In the luma folder create another folder called sysmodules. Then copy Widescreen.cxi into the sysmodules folder. Finally rename the Widescreen.cxi to TwlBg.cxi and that should fix your problem.

with luma 12 you can autoboot into the homebrew launcher.

How can I set my own TitleID while making the forwarders, I used Forwarder3-DS to make them before and I would like to keep the same TitleID for the same games.

How do i create forwarder with this? I can't seem to understand the instructions. it says to open generator nd click a terminal or command prompt and cd. is that the 'generator' application? or the YANBF-GUI? i could at least do something with YANBF-GUI

How do I get the rom pathing? on my SD card root, i have a folder labelled roms, then in the folder a folder labelled nds, then the game is inside that and the saves folder is there too. is that "\roms\nds"? or do I need "\roms\nds\[game title].nds too? because i've tried 3 ways, but none of them are working

got it. not used to pathing, so i was using backslahes like i saw in the directory. using forward slashes now, got it working

Hmm on my laptop it takes about 2 seconds to generate each forwarder. So sounds like something is definitely wrong on your end.
