Thoughts on Fire Emblem Engage?

So, this thing. I have no idea what to make of it.

I love Fire Emblem as a series but I've yet to finish Three Houses and this just...I don't know. It's not doing it for me so far.

It feels very gacha and I don't like how much emphasis they're putting on the 'all-star' characters.

What do you guys think? Assuming you care about the franchise to begin with, of course.

IDC about grinding gacha-like mechanics for +5% imaginary numbers. So I'll just ignore that completely.
FE3H was already easy as fuck anyway.

The artistic direction sometimes looks great and sometimes awful (like the outfits of the 2 kids at the beginning) especially compared to FE3H.

But at least I won't have to run around and give lost items to stupid students lmao

I'm a bit tired of the recycled characters in games. Like gosh damn... we know about Marth already. Do we need him to touch every Fire Emblem game?
Also, I were surprised that they took back the main character(s) speaking again.

I like the direction of the game focusing on only combat and less social aspects.
But the emblems of older characters have literally 0 personality, it's like they are shadow slave ghosts or something.
"Let's protect that what you hold dear" one of them say, another one said they waited for centuries watching over you. Like what they even are? They're so hollow. Imagine becoming a slave ghost to serve eternally in another dimension
