One more question please -- how can we access the photo/video album while atmosphere is active?
Hold the (R)ight shoulder button down while clicking Album.

BTW, you can change that behavior. Here’s the documentation on how to do it:

If you open the guide you will see they address this before the first step.

Regarding JKSV:

So I've used it before, but I accidentally forgot to extract the save first. Meaning I dragged it from the switch SD card to my pc (via mtp) and edited the Animal Crossing save there.

Can I use JKSV to inject the save back into the SD card and still get the changes even though I didn't extract it with JKSV originally?

Thanks again!

Absolutely can. save files are simply whatever the Game team wanted to use to track progress, placed in a particular agreed upon place. Most of the tools that do this sort of thing do it in a similar fashion and are cross compatible. Create two new game save backups using JKSV so you have a reference in the /JKSV folder on your SDCard and then simply swap out the file you modified and import the save again using JKSV. If it doesn’t work, remember that we made two copies at the start of this so you can get back to where we started by restoring the second copy and then try again.

Hi all, I need a little help here.
My nephew had his Nintendo Switch freeze while playing. I literally couldn't do anything else but to force it to shutdown.
After injecting fusee, the Nintendo remains in a black screen after the atmosphere logo.
I've tried updating Atmos and Hekate, deleting all the folders in the SD Card but emuMMC, running Fix Archive Bit, but nothing worked.
Is there anything else I could try?

Is you SDCard using FAT32 or exFAT file system?

Did you update fusee.bin in /bootloader/payloads/
You can find a copy of fusee.bin here:
https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases

Please share the contents of your /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini file

Please take a screenshot of your Hakate -> eMMC -> page

Please share the contents of your /emummc/emummc.ini file

Here’s a good guide you can use to check your work:

Thank you for your reply.

- It's FAT32;
- Yes I have an updated copy of fusee in the payloads folder
- My hekate_ipl.ini (I'm trying an AiO installer, DeepSea):
[config]
autoboot=0
autoboot_list=0
bootwait=3
verification=1
backlight=100
autohosoff=0
autonogc=1
updater2p=1

{DeepSea}
{Github: https://github.com/orgs/Team-Neptune/}

{--- Custom Firmware ---}
[CFW (SYSNAND)]
emummc_force_disable=1
fss0=atmosphere/package3
atmosphere=1
logopath=bootloader/bootlogo.bmp
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp
{}

[CFW (EMUMMC)]
emummcforce=1
fss0=atmosphere/package3
atmosphere=1
logopath=bootloader/bootlogo.bmp
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp
{}

{--- Stock ---}
[Stock (SYSNAND)]
emummc_force_disable=1
fss0=atmosphere/package3
stock=1
icon=bootloader/res/icon_switch.bmp
{}
- My emummc contents:
[emummc]
enabled=1
sector=0xb478000
path=emuMMC/RAW1
id=0x31574152
nintendo_path=emuMMC/RAW1/Nintendo

Just as a note, I'm only able to boot as CFW(SYSNAND), I cannot boot CFW(EMUMMC) nor Stock(SYSNAND)

Hello all, I have an ACNH specific question, please feel free to redirect me if this is not the best place. How would you recommend downloading custom codes with a modded switch? I have been avoiding connecting to the internet with it altogether. Is it best to import the custom code files or can it be done in game via internet as per usual? Thank you kindly for any advice!

Definitely do not recommend enabling a modded switch to be able to download custom codes unless it’s absolutely clean, meaning no NSP/XCI installs, no Online cheats applied, no custom avatars. It would be hard to remember everything to clean and do so without creating additional tracks that could also lead to a ban. If you are hell bent on doing this and have a clean Sysnand you could create a new Emunand and wipe everything in your current emunand and on a new SDCard and be OK. Otherwise? Highly discouraged.

How easy is it to install the HWFLY? What board revision or model requires the DAT0 adapter? I just don't have a heat gun on me at the moment.

Looks great in general.

Have you attempted injecting hekate.x.x.x.bin instead of fusee.bin?

Another thing to try is…

Try changing the following stanza:

[CFW (EMUMMC)]
emummcforce=1
fss0=atmosphere/package3
atmosphere=1
logopath=bootloader/bootlogo.bmp
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp
{}

To read:

[CFW (EMUMMC)]
emummcforce=1
payload=/bootloader/payloads/fusee.bin
atmosphere=1
logopath=bootloader/bootlogo.bmp
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp
{}

I’ve intentionally avoided this one because I don’t have an OLED. :-(

I’ll take a stab but if any real experts want to chime in and correct me, please don’t hesitate!

OLED is the toughest Switch to mod (but probably the most rewarding?)

This is due to the D connection being under the eMMC. There are a couple ways to get at it with the DAT0 being the most popular. So I wouldn’t say DAT0 is required for any of them…it just makes the job easier!

That said, there are at least two different DAT0 cards:
1) darker original corner aligned model
2) lighter and newer edge based model

Some people simple wedge a DAT0 underneath and call it a day while others apply a dab of low melt solder and reflow the eMMC to ensure a better bond to the D point.

Best videos I’ve seen on the topic belong to @sthetix and @Modzvilleusa
(At least the ones that make the most sense to me anyway…YMMV!)

Updating Pokémon Scarlet through "Match version with local users" feature may have corrupted my SD card?

I was trying to update my copy of Pokemon scarlet through the "Match version with local users" feature using my clean switch to pass the update to my CFW switch. Then suddenly, my CFW switch's screen went completely white and became unresponsive.

I held the power button for 15 seconds to force it off. I opened TegraRCM and injected the payload and got to Hekate but couldnt boot into my emmunand. It would show the atmosphere splash screen abruptly and would immediate turn itself off every time.

Then, I took out my SD card and put it in my computer and noticed that the SD card was taking forever to open. It wouldn't let me copy, delete, or move files without making my file manager become unresponsive.

I got a new SD card and put atmosphere and all my homebrew apps back on it and everything seems to be working smoothly now. No issues at all

Could it be that updating my game through the built in Switch feature corrupted my SD Card?

Fat32 or exfat? If exfat, highly likely. Last person that tried this we ended up inconclusive because we didn’t get to the point of testing if the FW was updated also…
