There's no such thing as innocence

So I suppose I was gonna write a little review about Spice and Wolf as I just finished the series today, though I figured I'd go off on a bit of a tangent.
I think out of everyone in my circle of friends I'm one of the more innocent ones.
It's kinda weird to think so, cuz I think of myself as someone who knows a decent amount and it hard to deceive, but perhaps not.
I think I trust people more than they should be trusted.
I'm always thinking people are much more innocent, less prone to lie, perhaps more naive.
Though I guess I'm always the naive one.
Nobody my age has any hint of innocence left in them.
It's kind of sad.
I seem to be able to accept it more when guys are less innocent, but when my friends who are girls aren't innocent it kinda throws me off.
Especially my new friend.
My stupid naivety makes me believe I can change people for the better.
Perhaps I can.
We'll see...

Well I guess I bring this up because of Spice and Wolf
(Which, I'll admit, I thought it was gonna just be a crappy show with a girl with a tail and ears)
But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually a good show.
It played a lot on the role of innocence and deception and such.
Kinda made me think of stuff.
But yeah, I'd recommend it, as it's kinda hard to put exactly what the show is like.
Not too sure what else to say now, sooooooo, I'll leave it at that.
Peace out.

If you think about it, children, who are touted to be the most innocent are brutally honest. They are also ignorant of things you and I know. The problem is that children hurt people feelings. I remember when I was a kid, I called this lady fat, who then burst into tears. I didn't know what I said hurt her feelings, I wasn't empathetic, and I was outright rude. The better part of losing your innocence is the fact that you can be empathetic, you can lie for the greater good (though it is better to tell the truth), and make people feel better. Honestly, the saying "Ignorance is bliss" is a lie, but not in all occasions. I would rather know a few things about a person so I could not only make others feel better, but also myself.

There are somethings that will always be Right and wrong.
But for the rest of things we are the ones that chooses whats right and wrong.
Even heroes are villains, and villains are heroes at times. Would you rather lose good to rid of evil?
This is the fact of the world man get over it.

I like the way children are so innocent when they say things like that and don't understand why others might be offended.
:rofl2:

I wonder if she's still fat...

It was at a Taco Cabana, she was more than 2 times my current size. To this day my parents always skip over a Taco Cabana. LOL I remember this vividly because I got slapped across the face.
