reddit's ticks me off so much. (big rant coming and cussing also)

there fucking kamra system is shit. i mean i tried to ask a question when i have 23 karma points and my topic never get's posted it get's removed by a fucking bot. i mean WTF it is not that low are you fuckers fucking stupid or something i'm just trying to get a question asked. i mean i asked at gamestop reddit. i wanted to know if i can trade a HDD or not. also i can't call gamestop due to this fucking covid-19 shit going on they dont' answer there fucking phones also i don't want to walk half a mile just to get the answer and they tell me no. then i have to walk half a mile back. just had to get that out off my chest. or more like out my ass.

Not to mention how Reddit as a whole seems to have a certain political slant, removing subs that criticise women in any way whilst leaving the exact opposite subs, that criticise men.

Or how a sub's moderators have almost complete control over their subs, meaning it can easily become dictatorial.

Reddit has long since stopped being the "post whatever you want" space it used to be, before it became "mainstream" and popular.

I never thought you had to have a certain amount of karma to post in some subreddits, and that's because I rarely ever post. That's still a pretty crappy gate to put up even when it's supposed to be a site where "anyone" can post something.

Stop posting on reddit. That place is:

  • A) Nothing but the worlds largest circle jerk
  • B) An echo chamber
  • C) Hive mind out of control
  • D) Liberal crap-hole
  • E) All of the above
You know that place is messed up when their top poster was known pedophile, Ghislaine Maxwell, using the username of /u/Maxwellhill .... and reddit mods have a history of deleting posts that mention their co-founder, Aaron Swartz and spez has admitted that he has the power to edit user's comments and has done exactly that in the past (and probably still does).

I totally agree with you on that one. Also, I didn't even know that reddit used to be "post whatever you want" space because by the time I got in there there's only one side to everything. If you don't agree with their opinion, then you're immediately downvoted to oblivion or sent to the black hole.

For what it's worth though, I just go there for the memes, some educational content like science, tech, and history, some kick-ass wallpapers, and of course the homebrew scene and the jack sparrow content.

I use reddit but I ended up on this site because when I first got my switch I needed to ask a question but I didn't have enough Karma to post. Reddit is a good place though

some of you are missing the point. i am on some reddit's with out karma post. hell i got on one with a low karma count at 15. i just go there to find stuff i can't find and can't say. still 23 karma count is not really low. also FUCK THE GAMESTOP Reddit.

Reddit is like the evil mega corp of all forums. Treat their site as you would any other large, overly controlling company. They’ve never facilitated open discussion, and they never will.
